QUOTE(OKB @ Sep 18 2016, 02:17 PM) Bought fr Curve, I think the shops called First Few Years, its facing Mothercare. The stroller set is RM2.2k. The Maxi-Cosi CabrioFix is around RM800 after discount if buy together with the stroller or look for sales in the baby expo's, they have it every few months if you dont mind the crowd. My baby falls asleep immediately in the Cabriofix, and he's very snug and comfortable in it. Its also very solid, easy to secure in the car seat, so Im quite happy with it. Hope this helps. |

QUOTE(Igloo0000 @ Sep 10 2016, 05:21 AM) As far as I know, most people have more than one stroller. We have five. Different strollers serve different purposes and I don't think there is one stroller that can fit all your needs. How much did you pay for the BOB Flex stroller and where did you get it from? Here're our strollers: 1. Generic brand umbrella stroller: Most basic and lightest stroller. Cannot be reclined. We use it only for short distance walk or when too lazy too carry other heavier strollers. I don't think my little one sit comfortably inside. 2. Summer Infant 3D lite convenience stroller: This stroller can be reclined, which is important when you are going out long. Much more comfortable than the previous one, and still consider light with only around 12lbs. It has five point safety harness feature. We like to use this one for long travel because it is light and can be fully collapsed. 3. Britax b-agile: This comes with the travel system, which we used when our little ones were not ready to sit upright. It is about 17lbs if I remember correctly. It cannot be fully collapsed like the previous one, but my little ones could sit very comfortably inside. 4. BOB Flex jogging stroller: We use it when going out jogging. It provides good stability in bumpy roads or rough terrain and easy to maneuver. However it is heavy and therefore not easy to handle for my wife. 5. Britax b-agile double stroller: We bought this when we had the second child. It is a must for parents with two children around the same age. |

I will be a father next year for the first time. So yeah my knowledge abt strollers, infant seat or car seat is next to none. I was seeing some quinny strollers like buzz extra and moods. I was wondering if somebody can suggest me a dummies guide. Should I separate stroller, car seat, infant seat ? Or look for something which is all in one. Any suggestions are deeply appreciated. Thank you in advance.

just bought peg perego p3 compact classico from online shop, but self collected at their store in kota kemuning since we have hands on on the stroller we are buying..
was contemplating combi or peg perego. since got some bad reviews from other parents that we personally know that used combi, and literally no issues from peg perego users, we went for the latter.. the built quality and user friendliness gives us parents a piece of mind and the fact the stroller can be used from newborn to 5-6 years is a plus.. if u break it down to price/per year usage, its about 250 per year which is quite affordable considering the quality of the material they use (very solid but doesn't feel too heavy) and how long it can potentially last... hope we made the right choice for this.. |

We are using Graco travel system. It's great for small babies as you can just un clip the whole car seat and click it in to the stroller. Then when they get bigger, you use the larger seat and leave the car seat in the car. Baby is almost 1 year now and we still use it.

Hi. Im gonna be a 1st time father (dd in may).
Been surveying stroller both online and in shops for past 2 weeks but find it confusing as too many brands/models/types.. Is it better to get travel system or buy separately? My logic is, if i buy travel system, i get the car seat which can be used as carrier as well, and more suitable for infant as it is facing parents. Also easier to transfer baby from stroller-car-stroller without baby leaving the seat. Then when baby grows up ~1y, just use the stroller and maybe buy other car seat which can fit child ~4-5 y.o. Or is it better to buy stroller which can change the seat to face front/back and then buy a separate car seat which can use all the way from newborn to few years old? Need to hear experience from both a father's and mother's point of view.. |

Depend on your budget actually..
For me, i buy separately stroller and car seat, and again depend on your budget!! I've experience using the cheap one and on unfortunately day when driving the car during the heavy rain, the car skid threw the off road and the baby were upside down in the car. After that i throw away the cheap one (RM1++.++) because there's no secure belt and buy the expensive one (RM5++.++) which have 4 point harness and have additional secure belt to reinforce the oem car seat belt. From my view, the more expensive, the more safe for your baby because they have a good engineering method to secure your baby. |
