Arsenal, Chelsea and us are basically playing each other back to back (3 consecutive game week where either 2 of the 3 will play each other), it's kinda like a mini-league on it's own! I wouldn't mind if A beat B, B beat C and C beat A, that way we would still have an advantage over the other 2. Of course, the best scenario for us is to beat Arsenal & Chelsea, then they both drew each other. Now that would really put a big gap onto the top of the table

QUOTE(kiasunkiasi @ Dec 3 2010, 08:40 PM) no, by that time sheep's jinx powahh will be so powderful, that if either Chelsea or Arsenal draw/lose, both of them lose points. but i'll take 7 points anytime. Even when you screw up, eg. lose 2 match in a row, you still got a safety net, like when Liverpool were chasing us 2 seasons ago. This post has been edited by pyroboy1911: Dec 3 2010, 09:10 PM |

If it's not played now, then it would probably be stuffed into on of the weekday slots, making that period more congested than supposed to. Not ideal if u ask me

QUOTE(dlct87 @ Dec 4 2010, 09:33 PM) lol just wikipedia-ed the undersoil heating system, and got 1 interesting article http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1967_NFL_Championship_Game 1967 NFL championship game was played in −25°C condition, and the wind chill at that time was −42°C, the reason was due to the failure of the heating system QUOTE As the referee blew his metal whistle to signal the start of play, it froze to his lips if i had not known better, i would say thats an exaggeration |

QUOTE(Calvin871989 @ Dec 4 2010, 10:20 PM) can't say it came as a surprise can we? Just imagine, the day when Giggs surpassed Sir Bobby's all time appearance record...and that was 3 season ago! Since then he has played in excess of 90 odd games more, it's not just "barely" surpass. If he were to retire, i think he can easily slide into Ole's old role, and coach a few seasons...then when SAF retires, he can go up to be assistant to the new manager, learn his trade. Then when that manager retires, no need to susah2 find replacement, Giggs is there! Just hope Wales national team dont come knocking! |

QUOTE(Calvin871989 @ Dec 4 2010, 10:47 PM) i actually wanted giggs to stay a bit more longer just to surpass maldini's overall record appearances for his club, ac milan. not to undermine Maldini's contribution and longevity, but i bet Maldini wouldnt reach the 800 mark if he were to play as a pacy winger. Even Figo only had 780+ games to his name, Pires only exceed 700 so far. for a player to reach 900 game yes, thats a great figure and is legen-wait for it-dary, but for a player who cover a lot of ground like Giggs to reach 850, that is just mind blowing.giggs: 849 games maldini: 902 games |

Droggy scored. Hey Pak Jinx, can make it like, 3-3 draw with Everton or not? Drogba and Cahill both hattrick, for my FF sake |

QUOTE(+Newbie+ @ Dec 5 2010, 09:09 PM) I wonder if that's the right thing for Mancini to say. No wonder he has no respect in the dressing room. well i think Fergie said the same thing about Rooney and Ronaldo, on the few occasions when they sulk after being subbed. Particularly Ronaldo. But whether the behind the scenes for City and United is same or not, i dunno. While SAF said so to the press, im pretty sure he's giving these players a piece of his mind too. |

QUOTE(+Newbie+ @ Dec 5 2010, 10:06 PM) There's a huge difference between both situations. thats not my point 1) For Rooney and Ronaldo, they didn't throw a hissy fit in SAF's face. Tevez has real right go at Mancini and had to be held back. 2) For Rooney and Ronaldo, SAF brushed it off by saying they're just passionate. Mancini on the other hand, after having his player disrespect him and scream in his face, wishes all his players were like that..... |
