I guess it is all about money. Both country got big pocket to host WC. Why did they change the rules that holder of WC need to qualify?

so England has to wait at least another 16 years to win the world cup again

Maybe BBC's investigation into FIFA may have caused some discomfort...or maybe because 2012 was too close to 2018...or maybe because England don't bribe!

Becks had tears in his eyes...I really pity the England's team at Zurich...all heartbroken, and rumour has it they were knocked out in the first round of bid and was placed last sad.gif

cuz Russia's stadiums time zone ranges from 2 hour late till 5 hours late..
