hi..finally, i managed to get my gps working..very happy liao becoz gps never lock before..but, it's very power hungry if using gps.. biggrin.gif

but today, i found minor bug regarding built in sensors..it's not properly calibrate especially the accelerometer and compass..

some pictures included(software used is 'phone tester'):

so, hope u guys can help me how to calibrated those sensors?
btw, my g5 is still virgin(not root yet)..tried using bubble software to calibrate but it seemed it's only calibrate for the software not the sensor.

i noticed to get quick locked gps is to move..get into your car/motorcycle, hold phone in open(on top of dashboard like that) while gps app is running..drive a little bit until it lock..

i tried that and it works very well..

i believe after u extract "I5500LUYJP2.zip"..there's a .tar file inside..this one u no need to extract..
in odin, tick 'one package', and a button to select a package will enable..select the tar file..

tried ndrive on my G5 with froyo and it couldnt get gps lock..

so, im using android market to search for gps optimisation and gps booster lite..to my concern, it says 'the requested item could not be found'..

anybody got the apk of both files?..mind to share it?..smile.gif

yep..thats why..g5 cam is no good for barcode reader becoz low quality image..you can try upload image into sd instead then use barcode scanner to scan it..
