yep..i flashed with 'I5503DXJG5'..i realized nau..im happy with eclair on my G5..

my experience using froyo..
app 2 sd
wifi tethering
kind of choppy animation in certain area
sometimes, need to force closed 'com.android.phone' <-this is crucial process..must not close lo
faster boot
battery draining quite fast(but, i could be wrong because only use it for 1+ day and i use phone extensively)
compass is truly..erghh..more or less 90 degree error
couldn't get gps lock..moreover, 'gps optimisation' and 'gps booster' is not supported for froyo
kind of lag during sms typing

for me, there's no significant features in froyo that may make me must choose froyo rather than eclair..i guess, eclair is good enuf for me..
perhaps for now

agreed.. i think most user who upgrade to froyo is bcoz app2sd feature including me

just my 2 cent..g5 is worth to have..but, u can opt for galaxy i5510 if u can wait longer..

speedrider, before u hard reset after flashing, dun forget to put ur hp in airplane mode 1st.

Do you mean about green battery animation during charging?
Well..no. Your phone doesnt turn on act. Still in off mode but battery animation is to show you battery level at that time..

you are using eclair or froyo?
if froyo, both gps booster lite and gps optimisation will not available..

yep..thats why..perhaps not supported for froyo..
btw, why do you need the software?..our g5 users said that froyo can get gps lock relatively quick

already replace the libpapago.so with ahem3 libpapago.so?

how do you guys configure task killer?
for me, in the ignore list, i put
clock, chompsms, music and the task killer itself..
kill other task on screen lock..
with these configuration, my free memory usually at 70+ MB

hoho..i once tried this method..my alarm is not triggered and aiyoyo..im late for my class

eh..i tot multitouch is not possible with G5 becoz of hardware limitation not software limitation..anybody dare to try the method provided

afaik, whatever you do with your dropbox folder in your pc, it will syncronize with other dropbox(that using same acc)..
better dont change anything..
