I guess not many ppl suffering from this phone auto turning off by itself, it keeps happening to mine, maybe once a day or so.. Im reluctant to send it in, cannot tahan waiting so long la for it to be 'fixed'.. i hope theres an update or something to fix this.

Theres a probability that it's caused by a bad app.and maybe hard reset would do.if the problem still persists after hard reset there must be something wrong with your firmware or phone hardware.i suggest you to try flashing a different firmware as done by bro qunox if you know how to and ready to do so.

Couldn't say if task killer is the cause of the problem.you could try trouble shooting by yourself.try uninstalling the app and see how it goes.

Something to share with my fellow g5ers. About viruses for android.

Here's my summary of the article;
There are too little Android phones around so there will be almost no virus specifically designed for Android

BUT, that article was written last year and we all know how much Android had grown since then.

smile.gif As I mentioned at previous thread, NOT SUGGEST to install Antivirus at this moment................
Did not found virus appear on android unlike Window with ton of that.

The Antivirus apps will cause more problem to your phone only, i tried

Been playing with rockplayer yesterday nite..
seem like the app hv very little control function.. only hv the full screen, back, forward, play/pause.. even pressing menu doesn't give any app option/etc.

there seem to be no control for the volume... or am i missing it?
the only way i can increase/decrease the volume is using the volume button on the left side of the phone.

biggrin.gif The simple the nicer, not necessary on many control option, since our G5 screen is small and have dedicated volume button
