As usual, people will point out that their land has not been revalued since 1981

But if the management doesnt revalue it, there is nothing we can do but wait.  laugh.gif
*
that's the same case for Kretam i think. land not revalued for over 15 years.

QUOTE(mopster @ Dec 1 2010, 10:41 AM)
actually i dont get the story between Strong RM and FF coming in..
~why would FF only want to come when RM is expensive ? doesnt that mean they can buy less RM with the funds ?
~should it be Strong RM attracting FF ~or~ FF inflow causes Strong RM...
*
the "theory" is that when u suspect FF inflow, you can also suspect a strengthening RM, which feeds back into attracting further FF.

FF inflow -> increase demand for RM.
RM up -> increase attractiveness of returns by adding a forex gain.

Do you know how did they manage to buy and sell at the same time? I noticed Evergrn counter before closing that the buy and sell are the same price. Was it a result of such play?
*
no, that's theoretical closing , iinm, from 4.30 to 4.50pm bursa will enter TCP phase to calculate theoretical closing, then 4.50pm it'll trade at last price/TCP. this is similar to the pre-opening TOP phase.

dark pool imo has no significance much, the only thing we might not be able to see are married deals taking place. After all, Form 29B still requires all major shareholders to declare any changes in shareholding.

so its means we should ignore those news/shows?? I can;t see through their intention/plan....
*
no just means don't buy 100% of their story. take the gist of it and trust your own judgment.. when i started this also everyday listen to bloomberg end up mega_shok.gif

now i absorb 10% of what they say only especially their analysis.
the news is the aftermath of what they did. they already have positions to benefit from small fish getting panicked.

The book i read teach me ride the bull and avoid the bear (conservative style/uncle stype tongue.gif )
So don follow the trend/new should be die hard....?

aha, if mine isn't clear to you, you can read danmooncake and cherroy's explanation. they do it a lot better than me tongue.gif

well.. there is a bigger trend out there that you need to catch, right now there's a lot of noise in the market. so if you can avoid those noise and see a bigger picture, you'll do fine with a little extra care. if u follow my mistake last time and listen to the noise. u'll end up worrying for nothing and end up at square one . doh.gif doh.gif

just giving my view/experience/what i've learnt.

i'll still look at indexes and external news because got some fragile speculative positions and futures, but otherwise dow down 1000 points also im not worried for my fundamental stocks. well maybe a little worried.. cuz 1000 points is a lot tongue.gif

does it means those bought at 0.52 can sell at 2.08 and earn 1.5 ?

sorry still new to stock ...

no no no. if can earn rm 1.5 i'll sell my holdings straightaway.

0.52 x 4 = 2.08
means 0.52 yesterday is equal to 2.08 today.
