i would go with the pacifica.. somehow tele's with 2 humbuckers dont really interest me.. also, i prefer alder bodies over agathis but thats personal preference

a humbuckers will giv a sound of more crunch and heavy..i juz got a wrong feeling wit a "cheap" hum..
unless the pickup are good pickup that can work nicely wit high gain amp which my guess will not..
coz my 1st guitar also sin>sin>hum..then i remove the hum and replace it with dimarzio evo coz the old hum sound terrible in high gain amp..
but if want to giv it a try 1st why not..

if u want portability and many built in effects, go with the roland microcube~

Or.... you can give the Vox amps a try.
If you play lots of metal, go for the XL Line. If you play lots of different genres, go for the VT line.
I'm using a small VT15, but DAMN does it sound good. I use it more than my Marshalls these days.

^blacktrix, which one of the models on your VT sounds most like a Marshall Plexi?

The UK 25th I guess would be the closest with some EQ mods...... That one is based on a Marshall Silver Jubilee amp........

But if you want a better representation of the Plexi, go for the AD series which although has 11 amp models, the Plexi is one of them

Guys i am hoping to pick up an LP100 as i am a beginner and i was thinking of amps which has all the effects included because i am still deluded (noobish) so i was thinking of :
1.Roland micro cube
2.line 6 spider 3

Can i know the expected price for a LP 100 and any recommended amps? my total budget is 1.5k, prefer a started guitar without a gig bag and an amp.

at such price for SX guitars u got to compromise some things la... but SX are generally good..at least much better than 'prince' or the likes..
just go buy it.. . if you need a cheaper option, look for a FINA strat at Wohfatt selling at RM350..last time i check only left one...

RM1.5k ? that is pretty high ..

You can try Ibanez SA together with a Roland Microcube ..
i would suggest that ..

Another way is to go for Yamaha Pacifica + Roland Microcube + Extra money to get a Zoom/KORG multieffects
