Dear Friend, I just bought a new iphone 4 from overseas. It shown 'the sim card is not supported' when i put in my celcom sim card. What should i do ?

Some people are selling the transparent back casing for iphone 4...i would like to ask will my warranty void if i change it?Thank you...

dont they have the tempered sticker when we need to disassemble the front housing set ? we need to unscrew right .

Some I read from forum or teach by friends that I only need to uninstall or unjailbreak from my iphone 4 is restore it from itune. But When i tried to restore it from itune and press the restore button it shows "restore and update". So another question from me is how can i restore it but not update my iphone 4 version? Cz currently i'm on 4.2.1. As my 2 weeks old iphone 4 got some problem with my speaker (some times got sounds and some time no sound at all) Please assist me any expert here as I need to unjailbreak to before i sent it back to DiGi for warranty~~~~

P/S: Or any1 here know which area i can attend and to ask/ pay for doing it?

Oh,my bad.Cant really reach my fingers on that a4 at the moment.
Housing mean the complete set front and back.And TS never mention wether its front or back.

2) Shift + Restore on your iTunes *locate the ipsw file

i changed mine into transparent back casing already, looking out for the front one now

i have 2-3 laptops and i tried to share the internet connection..it works on my 2 laptops but my other laptop, HP to be exact, simply cannot detect my iphone internet connection even in USB or in wifi mode...

in wifi mode...the connection was rejected after i key in the security WEP...any idea?

Guys I need your help is I have forward my call from my iPhone to another phone of mine. Suddenly I just wanna delete it bcos when  I was oversea early this month and my another phone is off and my iPhone is on. When a call comes in and if I didn't pick it up it automatic divert to my another number. I never on my divert call at all. My bill came in today got shock that I was charge RM 5.45 per call x 5 calls that I didn't pick it up. So I try delete the number of my call forwarding but fail. So I key in 0378..... Seem it work the number disappear...so what I did I call to my number and guess what it divert to my another number...again...so please help me...sifu out there

Perhaps your battery performance has decreased. Changing to a new battery will eventually solve the problem?

some applications do auto updates....so if your 3G is on.....does tat mean it will use your 3G to update without notifying you?

i use ipod and hv itunes on my pc. u use a paid internet security and i notice each time i use the itunes or every other day ( when i do not ) it will auto try to access the internet by itself, my internet security alerts me each time.
so i am guessing for iphones it must be the same.

Others answered by alvinool except bluetooth transfer. You can try ibluenova or iBluetooth via cydia.

Its working fine on my friend's i3g thou. Not sure for others. You can opt to try it out and give feedback on it. We are eager to know too.

Hi apple sifus, forumers.. Need help tracking my 1 month old iphone 4, stolen few days ago. Unlocked, on celcom.
On ios 4.2, jailbroken.
Negligent enough by not installing any tracking software or bothered to register for Mobileme account, now regretting it. Already barred the sim. Celcom said no way to track it.

Question : Is there any way of tracking it either using
- IMEI
- SN
- MAP / IP adress of the phone

I googled around most forums but no helpful answer so far. . Need the real time location ( is it possible? ) as i narrowed down few suspects and have their address, if i can identify the current location early, might pinpoint the thief. Precious momentous in the phone which aren't yet backed up.  Any realistic and practical idea please pm me..If you can help track it until i can get it back, i'll reward handsomely.
