I read many post that stated that gevey turbo sim require to dial emergency call to active the line..
in other word is it legal when we hang out the emergency call after connected for a few sec?

ahh help!! i got a 2nd hand iphone 3gs..when i wanted to reset the phone,the loading things is turning with the apple logo at the back..but after a while,the thing stop turning and the phone hang..i force switch off the phone many times stil like that..

fyi,its jailbroken phone

I'm like iPix in that I also don't use a screen protector. I do however use a casing since the back of the iPhone comes into contact with hard objects quite often (especially tables).

if you're using maxis, what is the current carrier says ? mine is Maxis 9.0

you can check them in setting > general > about > and see the carrier.

i remember when i was on 4.3.1. it says the Maxis 10.0

but when i downgrade to ios 4.2.1 now its is Maxis 9.0

Anyone here who normally use the speakerphone/loudspeaker mode while making a call? I normally use it and the other party of the call always complain to me that my voice is too soft and not clear, as if I'm talking very far away from the phone. Is the iPhone noise cancellation working too much till it cancels your own voice while in speakerphone mode?
I dont think Nokia has this problem.
Speakerphone mode is important to me while driving.

Hi, my 3GS suddenly can't be charged. Tried with few different cables, wall plug, USB, car charger all seems not working. Rebooted and restarted a few times as well but still nothing. Still cannot be charged. Anyone can help?

dude,come on.you even dont know where you bought your iPhone ? from the internet or from walk-in shops ? if its isn't from direct Digi,Maxis store,you cant claim back the phone.There-more its 2 years already.Impossible as the warranty exists.
Alternatively,

1) plug in your iPhone with iTunes (if really local telco set,unlock-able)
2) still cant ? get help from garage sales section whom providing unlocking service.Anyhow you can get it by goggling.

nope. restored by holding home+power button doesnt. restore all settings also still the same. but restore from itunes not yet. will do it later when i got home since now in office.

One newbie question, my iPhone is now on iOS 4.2.1, just now when I was about to update the firmware to iOS 4.3.1, I noticed that the firmware has mentioned some thing about this firmware is for (GSM) only, may I know what is this for? Any issue after updated my iPhone into a firmware that is only for (GSM)?

I cant seem to use Chinese Simplified (PinYin) input...
Whenever i tap on the globe to change to pinyin, the application will crash and exit on it's on (all apps are like that....)

Any idea why is it like this?

I updated recently to 4.3.1 for iPhone 4. Since then I could not use 3G to surf at all. Tries reset network settings and still it does not work. Anybody encountered this recently and managed to resolve?

I bought a new iPhone 4 about a week ago and it has been going really well. However randomly yesterday, it started to randomly freeze for like a millisecond and come back. This is only noticeable while playing games such as tiny wings or need for speed but it is still very annoying since I use my iPhone primarily for gaming. Is this normal? If not, how can I fix it?

Lol already told you it is unlocked and jailbreak set its just SIM locked.. So need to used Gevey SIM.. You need to learn more about Apple if you not sure about it at all..

BTW I think I dont want to sell it ATM.. You can try other seller in Sales thread...

copy all to your sim card,then transfer from simcard to your iPhone.
