1)Guys , i took my pickguard of my les paul and there're two holes in it , should i leave it or place both the screws back in?

2)I noticed that my strings rust very fast and these a indeed top quality strings. After playing it, i will usually put it back into the case. When i open the case and take it out to play it the next day, the strings seems a bit rusty. Any solutions??

damn im having severe gas for amps; im up for recommendations budget 1k-10k. currently scouting but i wont take like current offers, only will buy late this year

requirements:

- all tube, no hybrids. no solid state clipping

- good cleans, i dont mind having 1 channel, no master volume, no Distortion, no Overdrive, no effects, no eq. but cleans must be there.

-GOOOOD Natural Overdrive.

- Dynamics, very sensitive thus must very responsive, no muddy amps that cloud your playing. i want EVERY mistake of mine to be heard, even if its the slightest.

- watt and headroom, this varies but i prefer something that i can use for a long time.  im still interested in a class5 tho

- beat up, old original vintage pre 90's amps are very very very much preferred. i hate new shit

How many of you here plays using a monitor speaker? My guitar teacher was just talking about it to me today, and I think it's pretty interesting. It totally relies on on the pedals? I'm using a POD XT Live and it seems to be what I'm looking for.
