QUOTE(JrMartian @ Mar 10 2011, 01:08 PM) Wow, thanks for the feedback guys.. Yea,i never changed my strings before, and might try for the first time =D Elixir and DR seems to get lot of good feedback from guitarists, might be considering this too.. Are they sold in a pack ( 6 strings ) or separately? If separately, means i have to choose each string? Sorry for asking so much, i don't have close friends who play guitar =( and the shop is quite far, i want to make sure i know what i'm doing when i get there =) Both lose and set should be selling at the shop. But i recommend you buy in sets. If one of your strings broke, still better change the whole set rather than just one. |

QUOTE(pleasuresaurus @ Mar 10 2011, 01:46 PM) But bear in my mind la, these strings are a little pricey so I recommend you get them once you make up your mind on what sort of gauge u want to use. As for knowing what you're doing in a guitar shop, don't worry. Guitar shop is like a box of chocolates, u never know what you're gonna go and get! Hahahaha...U might even end up walking home with a new guitar when all u really wanted was just a set of strings hehehehe QUOTE(JrMartian @ Mar 10 2011, 01:50 PM) Agree =D Thanks for the info Whenever i pass by it, i can't help to buy something from it ( even though i don't plan to ) Bought some string winder last time i went in without even needing it LOL.. QUOTE(felixyukito @ Mar 10 2011, 02:03 PM) I walk in, trying to get an amplug, went out, having bought a strap, fast fret, and a cable. Haha, you guys. Fight the urge. It's willpower! luckily, i'm still very much awake not to buy a guitar back and cried afterwards having no lunch and dinner to eat till the end of the month. GG QUOTE(felixyukito @ Mar 10 2011, 05:01 PM) TGS is recruiting technicians!!! go try it.. I heard no experience or skills is required. just bring your balls there and lots of passion to learn!! Sounds like a good opportunity. Greatly encourage newbies to go for it. |

Anyone here has a Line 6 POD HD?
Thinking of getting the HD 400, but it's quite intimidating for me to not fully understand how to use it. Thought if one of you guys have it, probably you can teach me before i splurge my money. |

QUOTE(antidream unthought @ Mar 17 2011, 06:00 PM) ^ go for the HD500, much better options with of course some price increase. I've read the manual many o' times (but don't own one I'll resort to single stompboxes since probably I'll underutilize the POD QUOTE(isaacmiranda7 @ Mar 17 2011, 06:10 PM) According to what I've seen, the HD500 is really THAT much better than the HD400. More tweakability, better use live, 8 pedals at one go, 9 if you count an extra expression pedal, 10 with the inbuilt pedal. Yeah, the HD 500 is the flagship of the POD HD, but i dont really think i need all those extra stuff. Not gonna be a rockstar anytime soon. Guess ill check out the real thing before committing my money to it. Thanks for the replies guys! |
