No other reasons le? Ah...if it's really mobo problem, roughly how long will it take them to replace a new one?
*
Well I don't like to speculate but if you replaced your HDD and the problem still occurs, it might be something affecting the laptop itself. But I think if it's a mobo issue, it might take 2 weeks+ to get it replaced.

Asus doesn't really believe in CULV laptops anymore I guess. Even their U series are being equipped with regular notebook CPUs.

Try disable the stuff mentioned there one by one, see which one reduces the yellow/red...
or try play song/HD movie while running the dpc checker...

The harddisk temperature is considered 'normal' for A42J series, that is the main reason I sold my A42Je. I done absolutely everything to keep the thermal down but the temperature drop only after I remove the harddisk panel open and actively blowing fast spinning fan underneath it.

This is a CPU temp during play COD..Is it OK?

1) The packing weight stated in the packing box is 3.6 kg..so net weight may be around 2.5 kg
2) Can feel min heat at a right palm rest and no heat at left hand side area and keyboard area. May be because of it has been made from aluminum (it is quite good compare to others laptop that I use before)
3) comfortable with a keyboard and feel soft during typing.
4) The speaker is from Altec Lansing and the audio quality quite good (for me). Play a song with a max and no sound "pecah". (of course cannot compare with N series)
5) There is a little bit lag during play COD (few secs) then become normal. (COD set medium)
6) there is no button to on/off WiFi and Bluetooth..need to use Fn key sad.gif
7) have 2 jack port (1x speaker and 1 x mic)

You should start getting rid of the bloatwares and update the Nvidia drivers. The driver update might solve your lag in COD.
