lols i just ask this question a week ago.. i suspect its ur tailblade crack.. u try to see the tail blade there connect to the motor.. is there any crack sign? if there is means its loose.. try replace with new tail blade and see if the problem go away..

Well, 2 yrs and 3months up to date. Fly on weekends only, but quite often I fly in the simulator.

It is not hard to fly IF you use your simulator a lot from my point of view.
There is a new flier that I know lately and he can flip his 450 CP heli already, of course without crash. But he plays with the sim everyday and sometimes can be more than 8 hours a day.

He just started the CP heli for less than 3 months. Anyway, there could be someone out there learning faster than him but I am just telling you an example.

Your budget? Even though with those Align clone CP heli you will still need at least 1K to buy:
1.) Battery (2200mah 3S 25C) around RM30 each.
2.) Charger, standard one around RM100 to RM200.
3.) Radio System, Futaba one from RM550 (T6J) to RM10K (18MZ)
4.) 450 Clone around RM500 with decent electronics.

The total cost might be slightly different. All these are mentioned excluding the shipping.

If you have less than 1k for your budgeting then not much choices. Maybe you can take a look at the ESky's heli, they have a 450 size RTF package for less than RM600 but a lot of the people don't really recommend.

If that's the case, TAROT is recommended from me. Pretty good quality among the clones. HK one still OK but from my experience with the 250 size, the HK's metal is a bit fragile and tends to break easily, though they are cheaper than Tarot.

Since a lot of my frens are using Tarot so from there I get to know that the quality is quite good and it should be OK for you.

If you want it to be hassle-free, just consider Align's 450 Plus which will be coming to Malaysia soon. Else, you may take a look at this combo although I don't really recommend the KDS800 gyro.

I have not really look at the real 450 Plus but I assume that this is the package that Align is offering for beginner. A lot of the parts are made of plastic compare to the Sport and Pro version.

The Sport one is using a belt to drive the tail rotor which sometimes the tail authority is not really that good compare to the torque tube one which is the Pro version.

There are a lot of debates talked about these 2 so I think you have to do your homework a bit

Also, a lot of the time if you do the mix-n-match yourself, i.e. buying a kit and choosing your own electronics will give you more headache to tune the heli. For a beginner I think it saves you more time if you are getting a combo package from the manufacturer.

Just take you some time to assemble (maybe not for the 450 Plus) and set the heli up instead of keep looking for the cause of the problem from a mix-n-match heli.

It's good that you can go to the nearer flying field to discuss with the experience flier there before you get started. That's really something good for you and you will gain invaluable information.
