waaa .... u never tell your dotter to stay away when u flying one meh ?
i always tell my kids to stay behind me if i hovering or flying with them around ... danger danger if your swash is as level as possible then almost no trim needed ... very very minimal trimming try to hover it at least 1m off the ground otherwise ground effect/rotor wash will make affect it watch for wind oso when trimming ... hehehe |

eh ? i tot someone said no $$$ for 8FG ?? hahaahahaaa
anyway ... i set mine to SWITCH instead of CONDITION (default) so i can flick it between rate mode and HH mode anytime i wish .. this is useful for getting the full travel of the servo @ GY401 style gyro setup in rate mode when set to SWITCH then use the #1 #2 #3 to set the modes and switch ON/OFF positions Added on November 1, 2011, 2:43 pmanother thing ... why la u FLY SO HIGH one ?? hard to see orientation leh ... hehehe This post has been edited by QiW: Nov 1 2011, 02:43 PM |

quite hard to see already lorr ... u no $$$ ?? loan shark ?? maybe U ARE THE LOAN SHARK laa .. hahaahhaahahaaaa ps. i can see your TOYOTA HARRIER in the background one maa .. hehehe Added on November 1, 2011, 5:00 pm QUOTE(daddoo @ Nov 1 2011, 03:31 PM) Hehehe, since I have bought the chicken (trex600) then might as well use better soya sauce (radio) to eat loh ...... no $$$ mai borrow loan shark yes .. i use one of the 3 position switch to select what i wantSo you relate your gyro1, gyro2 and gyro3 to SWITCH #1, #2 & #3 respectively, right? High ar? about 10m height because give myself some room to save the heli just in case something is going wrong ..... beginner mah just change the ON/OFF position for #1 #2 #3 on the same switch told u 8FG damm good radio .. hehehe i will be performing surgery on my 8FG soon ... to boost/extend range This post has been edited by QiW: Nov 1 2011, 05:00 PM |

u should enable all the gyros if u using 3 axis
to avoid tip over ... do simple test just hold the heli and tip it sideways as well as forward/backward ... look at the swash and see if it tries to level itself if it does then gyros are working in correct direction properly if it does not then change gyro direction ... most tip overs are caused by not checking gyro directions .. hehehe the rudder gyro no need to say u know how to check la for sure ... |

it is your job to make sure there is minimal vibration maa ..
initial setup dont set your gain too high lorr ... just set the rudder one high enuff to hold ... the rest can slowly play play ... hehehe |
