Damn, maiden the hk250 and also crash the heli. Until the tail case/hub, tail boom totally patah.

So lesson learnt, do not increase your throttle curve while reducing the gyro gain if you hav not tame your new heli. It was causing me a crash because the tail can't hold properly and unpredictable where it is going to yaw. Trying to land but crashed!!

so fast crash already meh ?
u are considered experienced pilot already lorr .. hehehe

why u go reduce your gyro gain in the 1st place ?
increasing HS gives better stability and tail authority ... if your setup is not vibrating kow kow to kill the gyro la
if u lower gain coz of vibration issues then have to tackle that part 1st before increasing HS coz normally increasing HS with vibs will give even more vibs .. hehehe

It was because the tail behaving weird when i yaw at first. When i give it rudder it did not stop right away but instead bounce one time then only stop, kind a overshooting but pretty slow overshoot. Should not be a vibration issue here i think. So just tried to lower the gain to check and it was the fatal step i have done tongue.gif

Now I suspect that the ball link is too close to the center at the servo horn. About 4.5mm which is recommended for trex 250se but going to move it one hole further ......

Hey guys. I am new here smile.gif im wondering if any of the sifu here can give me some advise. Im thinking of getting into RC plane as a hobby. What would be the best setup for a beginner, and how much would the cost be to start with the complete beginner set.

Thanks in advance yea. smile.gif

I don't have anything to start with for now.. i saw from a few online shop, there's this "ready to fly" plane. I'm wondering if it is any good, and if i should start with that. I read from a few forum about not buying expensive plane because of beginner level and stuff.

Thanks so much for all the info. I will definitely be looking at all the website you posted. RC Smart got a shop in Amcorp Mall isn't it? Do you guys buy a lot from hobbyking? Was wondering how long would it take to deliver here, and whether it is reliable to buy from them. Their price seem to be reasonable. I think...

i have had NOT TROUBLES at all with hobbyking ... once it reaches here and if u face problems with our MALAYSIAN CUSTOMS then it is YOUR PROBLEM not hobbyking
but so far i have had no problems with KASTAM DIRAJA MALAYSIA la

if u do not have any batteries in your order then it will take roughly 1 week to get to your doorstep
if u have batteries in your order then it sometimes takes around 10-14days

RCSMART is located in amcorp mall 1st floor
there are oso 2 other rc shops on the 3rd floor for u to survey ...

then most importantly ... get someone to guide u in setting up and flying
otherwise u will be throwing lots of $$$ in b4 u can even fly properly

there are quite a lot of places if u say SELANGOR and KL
it depends on which area u are nearest to or where u prefer to go
giving guides online is nothing like in real life ...
