i prefer for cameras to be kept as cameras. i hate the idea of dslr that is fiddling with video recording.

a photo camera should only take photo and excel in taking photos.

a video camera should only take videos and excel in taking video.

Your idea doesn't make money. DSLR with video recording makes money. Back to reality dude. doh.gif

Wow D7000 as a backup body??
*
Which means you need to own a D300/D700/D3/D3s/D3x or else your D7000 is not qualified for NPS wink.gif

18-200 is a DX lens. Mounting it on ff like D700 will resulted the sensor change to DX mode.

Originally D700 only has 12MP, after change to DX mode, you are left with 8MP. You still want that? doh.gif

6MP sleep.gif

And just because want that NPS ? I rather collect my lens first. I already got 2 lens qualify for NPS. Another lens + body to go flex.gif
*
6MP? Lol worse...

For NPS Malaysia,

To qualify as a NPS member, you will need the following criterias:

* Full time professional photographer who
1. is working in a registered company
* Digital SLR Cameras: D3 Series, D700, D2 Series, D300 Series, D200
1. Own 2 or more of the above professional camera bodies
2. Own 3 or more professional Nikkor or DX Nikkor lenses
* Must be locally purchased with Nikon Malaysia Sdn Bhd warranty card

Updated to latest or not, not sure. Copy from the site nia.

I still got 1 more lens and 1 more body to go then, D700 replacement RAWR!

Beside cpl and rules of third... Any thing i should take note about?? If we want to apply rot we have to use liveview rite?? And one more thing i got a problem on soft images...may i know how to prevent this kind of images?
*
Be careful during winter season. If got snow, do not use your camera. Your D7000 body is weatherproof but your lens 18-105 is not weatherproof. It will risk water particle to enter your lens.

Soft images can be resulted from many factors. Dirty lens, cheap lens, overexposure, out of focus. Soft image isn't bad all the time. Soft images for portraits aka soft focus can bring out the romanticism of the subject.

Its going to be summer in aus... Weather reach up to 38c this few weeks lol... Wonder will it affect the rubber of the lens or overheat issues
*
No issue. Even if it affects the rubber of the lens, so what? It's just a kit lens and it's not meant to stay with you forever wink.gif
Overheat issue less likely will occur one. I heard about overheat in my friend's canon 5D2 while doing video before, but for nikon I no idea.

Zonda or Reventon or Veyron, tyre burst above 300km/h you still masuk longkang one lah wink.gif

You won't know the experience unless you tested driving 250km/h above on highway yourself.

Haha, no such lubang unfortunately.
Damn nice, sat inside and driver full throttle. The Geforce is damn cun~! LOL. A while already reach 100km/h ~_~. Went to see the specs, rated at 3.8s! Fastest I've sat so far~ LOL. Previously got sit the GTR, but owner did not full throttle.
Which? The lambo owner? He's from Melaka, traveling back from KL to Melaka then tyre burst. He didn't check his tyre condition la before speeding aiyo~

Hahaha, brother you are confused with G-Force and Geforce lahhh. Geforce is a brand of graphic card for computers laugh.gif
The porsche in the photo is 911 Turbo right? I only sit in Carrera S before, never try Turbo yet cry.gif

I haven't drive over 300km/h before so I got no idea, no such car to test. When I drive my dad's M5 modded, reach 280km/h I also scare already shakehead.gif

QUOTE(adriancs @ Nov 30 2010, 07:28 PM)
KK is a nice place to buy stuff. And Tokyo... man... whole shops full of 2nd hand lens going for cheaper than a meal sometimes... Can try the lenses, cameras, fool around, and even if you don't buy the next time you go there they'll still be as nice as ever. Makes you feel bad.
*
That's Japan for you. smile.gif Especially in tokyo, proper ethics is very important to them. I got scolded by my Jap teacher because I used osaka slang while in class(which is a bit rude compared to proper manners Japanese in text books).

KK is quite peaceful eventhough it's still has dangerous parts.
Tokyo? Their cheap-ness are like "fake" prices. Yes, we can buy a used 85mm f/1.4D for RM440 - Rm600 as I visited there last time.  drool.gif
Come to KK la  tongue.gif
I was born in Osaka though,
Lived both at Osaka and Shinjuku, Tokyo.
Yes, it's abit rude to speak Osakan slang to my experience, though I don't really know why.
*
Sorry off topic*
Lol, you osakan but you dunno your osaka slang is rude actually? doh.gif

That's simply because in osaka slang, the words and grammar they use is more direct, like what we usually hear in anime, which is actually pretty rude sweat.gif

but i found 50mm handle flare quite bad...

shouldnt be complaining anyhow..... the lens is cheap and good enough...

Added on December 3, 2010, 12:03 pm

yes... if you realized... the gold ring on some of the pro lens is not standardize...

and the new 24... 35... 85mm is really gold compared to others... maybe they did some changers on some of the new lens...
*
50mm f/1.4G handles flare quite good. Pair it with XS-PRO and woohoo! thumbup.gif
Gold ring on 24-70 really weird one. Damn yellowish compared to other lens. doh.gif

QUOTE(chobo @ Dec 3 2010, 12:06 PM)
for me... 24-70 is a good range on DX body when it comes to wedding shots... havent try it on FX though...

70-200 too far man... can be worst on DX...
*
Haha I love 24-70 too. 17-55 is not my range although many would love it for the DX.

I love 17-35 f/2.8 on FX though thumbup.gif
