FAM mahu berguru di Brazil - Dalam usaha merealisasikan impian ke Piala Dunia 2018

Sasaran layak ke Piala Dunia 2018 ternyata bukan satu angan-angan Mat Jenin oleh Persatuan Bola Sepak Malaysia (FAM) kerana perancangan membentuk pemain ke arahnya telah dibuat sejak minggu lalu untuk menjadikan Brazil sebagai 'mentor' terbarunya.

Dalam kunjungan sempena Kejohanan Jogos do Taca BH Futebol Junior di Minais Gerais, Brazil, baru-baru ini, FAM turut mengorak langkah untuk menjalinkan kerjasama dengan negara kuasa bola sepak dunia itu.

Setiausaha Agung FAM, Datuk Seri Dr. Ibrahim Saad berkata, pihaknya telah berunding untuk menempatkan sebuah pasukan kebangsaan berlatih dalam tempoh yang panjang di salah satu dari dua bandar yang terpilih.

"Kami sudah mengenal pasti akademi bola sepak milik bekas jurulatih Jepun dan legenda Brazil, Zico (Clube de Futebol Zico Sociedade Esportiva - CFZ) di Rio de Janeiro dan satu lagi di Cruzeiro untuk menempatkan skuad ini," katanya kepada Mingguan Malaysia, semalam.

I dont remember how many times we have beaten thais since SEA 2001 lost..... but we cant beat the Indonesia, and Singapore during that times.... And Myanmar suddenly so strong, drew wif Thais and Indonesia...

i went to the stadium last nite, and must say it was a good performance from our team although the Thais tried so hard to the get the equaliser in the last 10 minutes. they played very well in that period.

our passings were good, defence looked solid and the Indra-Saramsak combination up front looked convincing and more threathening. we only have to draw with Myanmar after this to go to the final. so hopefully we can snatch a point from there.

other result: Indonesia 0-0 Myanmar

Yeah...But remember that Thai use their under 23 squad where our team mostly 25 and above

yep. tapi tak kisah, we still won it. this is Pesta Bola Merdeka, so better try our best to win it. we used to do that in Tiger Cup few years back, reaching the final by playing U23 players. lost to Indon in the final.

Thai have disband their senior team thus making U-23 their A-team.... so that they can get points for FIFA ranking...
