Forte 1.6 might use same engine as Spectra 5 model, but improved version....well, underpowered only by the super duper heavy 17'' rims....1.6EX looks great and powerful ma....so, not entirely true of underpowered 1.6....
1.6 with 17'' rims....together 5 of them(with spare)....car's weight gone horrendously high |

20'' rims?? even merc and bmw oso dare not use 20'' stock rim ald...they knew 20'' is way too heavy for a car....i sat on a 525i, feel quite underpowered compare to C230...

Forte is the best wait for 2nd batch 6spd release 1st....as for nw, Forte in CKD terms is still new to Malaysia, thus they needed more experience to solve the problems(sound problems)....wait 4 2nd batch will b much more better...i rather wait for new Hyundai Elantra(Avante in Malaysia), as is fully CBU unit too...

QUOTE(Matrix @ Aug 26 2011, 11:38 AM) You obviously have not done enough research on fuel consumption of most cars. Talking to idiots like you is a waste of time. You are comparing a Turbo Diesel car to a NA Petrol car....bah...you won't know the difference anyway. What's so different?? it's still 2.0cc car, a C-segment....doesn't matter Hybrid, Turbo Diesel or NA Petrol or FI Petrol or NA Diesel, all of them still run on 2.0 engine with 4 wheels, spacious C-segment, looks as a proper car......it's still a 2.0L engine car, so wat's big deal abt T.Diesel, NA Petrol, FI Petrol, NA Diesel, Hybrid powered.....we're comparing 2.0L with 2.0L and car with car, we never said any types of cars, what powered them...when all of those need fuels...it can be RON92-99 and Diesel powered(those fuels came with the same petroleum right?? Petronas, Shell etc.)Still wants to compare?? How about saving RM30k which can buy you a lot of fuels for many years!!! LOL. unless you're comparing 2.0L car with 2.0L motorcycle(IF it ever existed) or others.... Added on August 26, 2011, 10:54 amyou wan the best conclusion for best FC among those classes we mentioned above for 2.0L car?? 1st. Focus TDCI 2nd. Altis DVVTi 3rd. Nissan Sylphy 4th onwards, your own choices... still 1 better?? get PRIUS n INSIGHT lor... and u wan say say Diesel can't compare right?? I assume PRIUS n INSIGHT is still powered by Petrol?? and why is it better that Focus TDCI?? Think Matrix.... This post has been edited by XionCity: Aug 26 2011, 10:54 AM |

QUOTE(Matrix @ Aug 26 2011, 12:04 PM) I think you have gone from respectable Forte owner to overzealous kimchi fanboys....compare all you want. Forte FC isn't any better than an Inspira anyway in city drive. Yawnnn..... HEY!!!! DID I EVER MENTIONED A WORD OF FORTE OR INSPIRA UP THERE???? U READ THE POST PROPERLY...SINCE WHEN I SAID FORTE??? I DIDN'T MENTIONED ANY KIMCHI MODELS THERE, AND Y U STILL SAID FORTE???? R U BLIND??? I WAS SAYING FORD TDCI AND JAPANESE CARS...SINCE WHEN I BROUGHT OUT FORTE?? STUPID MATRIX....GO TO SPECTACLE SHOP AND DO A PAIR OF SPECTACLES OR CONTACT LENS!!!! BLIND MAN CAN'T SEE!!Added on August 26, 2011, 11:05 am Compare electric car better mah, no need petrol at all....haha. Back to topic, Inspira vs Forte. Not Hybrid vs petrol vs electric vs NA vs Turbo. IF U SAW MY POST WRITTEN, 1ST - FORD, 2ND - TOYOTA, 3RD - NISSAN, 4TH - YOUR OWN CHOICES AS I DID NOT EVEN MENTIONED FORTE HAD THE BEST 2.0L FC RIGHT?? IT'S YOUR OWN STUPID BRAIN THINKING THAT I SAID IT...MATRIX, YOU'RE REALLY BLIND AND ALWAYS LIKE TO BASH ME RIGHT? IF YOU HATE KOREAN, JUZ MENTIONED IT...I KNOW YOU HATE 'EM....YOU LOVE YOUR BELOVED INSPIRA MORE THAN ANY OTHERS....JUZ ADMIT IT, OR I'LL KEEP ON CALLING YOU BLIND MAN THAT CAN'T SEE ANYTHING WITH BIG MOUTH!! Added on August 26, 2011, 11:25 am QUOTE(kcng @ Aug 26 2011, 12:09 PM) hybrid is better then diesel? in terms of environmental friendly yes... hybrid has a lower carbon footprint... real world FC wise, i dare say TDCI is slightly better i dont think u have any idea how a hybrid car works... case in point (in case you do not know, and i think you do not know).. do a search on a E90 4.4 V8 Petrol BMW M3 vs a toyota prius HYBRID in a sample fuel efficiency test... no points for guessing which car has a better FC the reason y i said PRIUS is better in term of FC, coz it only consume petrol from 'stop movement of the car to 50km/h....' beyond that ald uses electricity...while diesel powered vehicles still using diesel all the way...as like forever....yes, in term of petrol n diesel if fully utilized, diesel is better(and cheaper too, compare RM1.80 Diesel with RM1.90 RON95-lowest standard grade petrol)....so, if in term of long run...i would say PRIUS had better FC compare with any Diesel models...like in HW Cruise....how much you've to pay per trip from Malaysia-Thai(Perlis) to Malaysia-Singapore border(Johor) using PRIUS and TDCI/CDi/BMW Diesel powered series?? it's true that alot of MYVIs turning turtle....coz they're tall n small size....juz like kenari, which also easy turning turtle....but i agree with turbocharged...those ppl are immature for posting up those pics....
and i also believe any1 can hit divider at high speed, or cornering in high speed(for tall cars like kenari/myvi) sure easy turn turtle compare with normal sedan cars like Saga/Savvy |

airbags are expensive, yes.....but wat if u got side impact n front impact at the same moment?? u wan die or alive??? Inspira is nice, but still not as tough or safety as Forte....but still Inspira 1.8 still worth for bucks, but not 2.0 version.... |
