Yeah, I've tried GNOME 3.14 with XWayland on my Arch. The gnome activities and animation is a lot smoother and faster on XWayland. Pretty good. But it's not quiet ready for daily usage, though.

I want to try but.. ughh.. too lazy to reinstall oss radeon driver.

Should take chance when openSUSE 13.2 released tonight.

no problem at all. there is some bug for Rhythmbox re-run several time after close due the update_interval.

done forget to replace eno16777736 to your connection name (normally eth0.

If you're running distro that using systemd then you have to change it, Ubuntu <14.10 or Mint you don't have to. Check the network naming schema using ip addr command.

Edit: Do you plan to upgrade to Fedora 21. I've heard everyone saying it is the best Fedora release to date.

My desktop right now. doh.gif
Fglrx hates current Gnome that it refuse to run X. Apparently it has something to do with Wayland preview in Gnome (according to multiple sources on web).
looks like I'm stuck with oss radeon driver until this issue resolved.

Use fbgrab instead of using your phone to take screenshot of framebuffer.

Due to Java? Its for the better anyway...but if you must, Java should be working on Linux
if due to no client(eg: VMWare vSphere), you're out of luck laugh.gif I wouldn't trust Wine for critical application.
