PROPOSED DISPOSAL OF THE ENTIRE BUSINESS AND UNDERTAKINGS OF QSR BRANDS BHD,THE PARENT COMPANY OF KFCH

The Board of Directors of KFCH wishes to announce that QSR had on 18 November
2010 received a preliminary proposal from AmInvestment Bank Berhad and
Newfields Advisors Sdn Bhd on behalf of Idaman Saga Sdn Bhd, a private company
owned by Tan Sri Halim Saad and Datuk Che Mokhtar bin Che Ali to acquire the
entire business and undertakings of the parent company, QSR.

The Board of Directors of QSR is in the midst of deliberating on the proposal
and will make further announcement(s) in due course.
This announcement is dated 19 November 2010.

Now all eyes on the offering price by this Datuk Che Mokhtar bin Che Ali.

If offering price higher than market price, hoh seh, else, ready to take profits!

Since there is an interested party, market shall see it as a positive news, right?

from what i know: I could be wrong...

It is written there :Dispoal of Entire QSR..
Therefore, Idaman Saga will have to decide on the listing status of QSR.. they can bring it private or leave it listed..

errr the question is... they never mention the price....
if trading is on on MOnday, how are u going to value QSR ? if u buy QSR at 8, and they offer 7... u byebye liao...

Looks like the debt issue really bug them

JCORP has been acquiring loads of KULIM lately.

But is disposing KFC & QSR at the same time, if I'm not wrong.

This should be some hint.

This could only means QSR aand KFC are both overvalued by now

PER:16.2x
NAV:RM2.48 (as per latest qtr)

so.. buyout at
20xPE: RM7.07
19xPE: RM6.72
18xPE: RM6.36
17xPE: RM6.01

other things to consider are... QSR gearing, and prospect.. i lazy to see those..

Jcorp has been disposing QSR but at the same time acquiring KFC and tons of KULIM.

I thought usually take over are calculated base on NAV?

If
1.5x NAV will be 3.72
2.0x NAV will be 4.96

Today last price was 5.76 which will be 2.3x

... i dun have spreadsheet to calculate xNAV...
