I know about their dividend as I already makan their dividend since I was a baby ikan bills. biggrin.gif Already dropped below my target price to buy in but if EPF is unloading, might as well wait for the price to drop further.
*
take note that result is coming soon... i'm just monitoring.. no action tongue.gif

QUOTE(drsaleh @ Nov 12 2010, 12:32 PM)
Uchi's price usually stable around <1.30. if got bullet, can enter. but what I dont like about this counter is that the divvy payment is reducing. dunno about upcoming divvy.. if improve, sign to go in
*
divvy reduce coz EPS reduced.. last year they paid almost 82% of net profit as divvy.. thats very generous imo..
and this year 1H EPS is already as good as last year's full year EPS.. so i believe divvy payout will be better..

maybe they'll declare a 4c divvy this qtr and 4c next qtr.. total to 8c.. 6.2% gross yield..

so far based on what i've gathered...
G20 may have come out with an agreement to control liquidity ... since a lot of nations object to USD printing...

so... goreng stock will be the first to "go"...
gotta wait for more news..

My goreng target price  whistling.gif around RM 1.30-1.20. With EPF selling, I think I will wait for a while to see what happens.
Cool. Hope to grab some before that if the price is right.....
*
just to add.. EPF still holding 5.21% of Uchi.. or 19M shares.. from latest filings..

Just flipped through CSC Steel Qtr Report...

Revenue Dropped.. Profit Dropped...

~Sales Vol down.. Raw mats up
~Inventories write down of about 10M due to raw mats price

Prospects:
~Over supply in China and Malaysia's steel market is not doing well
~Low demand from China, Choppy US & Euro recovery
~Expect steel market to be challenging

~Only positive point is China's conservation [green] policy requires industries to reduce output, spurring interest in stocking steel due to lower production.
----------
heheheh can start to monitor CSC Steel liao.. by when the steel sinks.... laugh.gif

I saw someone saying LCTH's C&CE went up although they made losses.. I was curious and went to read their FR...
Please bear in mind i don't have any accounting knowledge, kindly correct me if i make any silly mistakes... ty notworthy.gif

Here is what i found:

~LCTH include "Receivables" & "Inventories" into "Cash & Cash Equivalents [C&CE]" in their Cash Flow Statement. rclxub.gif
Their C&CE increased despite making loss because the Receivables bloated by almost 9M from 38M to 47M.

~The interesting part is, they consider "Receivables" as cash generated from operating activities. I dont think the cash is in their bank account yet. No doubt it is generated on paper. tongue.gif

~Also, the "C&CE consists of bla bla bla" section give the same figure 103,538. Out of the number, I think only 16,782+52,645 are their real cash in hand.

~But somehow the number doesnt make much sense to me.

please lemme know if i'm typing nonsense.. still learning as always smile.gif
ok enough of kepoh.. need to attend to my own sick/injured soldiers.. sad.gif

QUOTE(SKY 1809 @ Nov 12 2010, 11:00 PM)
The 47m is the drop of receivables from 67m  to a bout 18-20m at present, meaning more cash in the bank.

They have 52m parked in FD , so it is cash also
*
oh okie~ meaning the "Receivables" in Cash Flow Statement is the cash they've received for the past 9Months ?
tyvm sky~ notworthy.gif

You need to compare two B/S to understand more.

By looking at cashflow alone , sometimes rclxub.gif
