1. 4g != Wimax

2. 4G is from YTL Communications Sdn Bhd .

YTL Communications Sdn Bhd is a subsidiary of utilities company, YTL Power International Berhad, and serves as the telecommunications arm within the wider YTL Corporation Berhad Group.

3. Yes.

Correct ?

Jason,

Paramon as attached  .

21 GMT [Dow Jones] Paramount Corp (1724.KU) off 0.8% at MYR5.12, despite reporting 3Q net profit +33% on-year to MYR21.6 million. "The stock has risen more than 5.0% in the last one month and people are using the weak market sentiment as a reason to sell," says dealer; thinks stock could recover to test MYR5.25 recent high in next few weeks given robust outlook for local property market. RHB Research analyst Loong Kok Wen says Paramount's 3Q net earnings beats house estimate by 20% on annualised basis; thus ups house FY10-FY12 core net profit forecasts for Paramount by 7.6%-10.5%. "We like the stock for its dividend angle," says Loong; adds company consistently paid out generous dividend over past years, giving 5.0%-6.0% yields. Retains Outperform call with unchanged MYR6.20 target.

Owners of the bandwidth is BaraAktif & YTLE, which collects bandwidth rent from YTL-COMMs which is developing/launching it, which is owned by YTL-P which is ultimately financing it, which is owned by YTL which also owns YTLE. I think that's the gist of it.

YES is not true 4G I think, but it is WiMax.

yep, 4G is wimax, cuz there's no standard definition on 4g yet, although the real 4G should be LTE (Long Term Evolution)
if i recall correctly, YTLE owns the spectrum, YTLP bought over YTLComms from YTLE last year, and ECS distributes YTL's 4G devices.

1. Yes is Wimax, but Wimax is only 3.9G if u want to clarify
2. Spectrum own by YTLE, Yes is own by YTLComm while YTLComm is under YTLP

Are we sure we are getting the facts right? If I'm not wrong, YTLe is just like a service company that service YTL Comm Wimax roll out. The reason why YTLe looks more of a safer bet is because whether Wimax successfully roll out or not YTL Comm still have to pay them right? So....losing money or not, they still get paid, while YTL Comm only profit if the Wimax plan is successful. The same goes to YTLP who owns YTL Comm. At least this is what my friend working in YTL told me.
