Dear clem1982,

The price is getting more and more exciting on MSI products. Hopefully that the stock of GTX580 Lightning won't be as minimal as before.

For HD6970 Lightning, due to the higher cost, please do consider the GTX580 Lightning. A very interesting price to consider when it comes to card like this.
Thank you.

Dear chocobo7779,
Yes, both models we will bring in. Just the matter of time before it reach Malaysia market. ETA should be first week of June if everything is according to planned.

Dear katyPerry,
Currenty we will only focus on Lightning. And looking at this thread, we are bringing in more. One of the reason we see no reason to bring in other model is that the Lightning price is very competitive. The SRP is RM1699 which we think is pretty reasonable. Cheers.

it is reasonable indeed, any chance u will hav full lineup of the TFIII??? for Gtx560Ti, HD6950, Gtx570??? or just the Gtx580?? as Katyperry have said, we are very interested in the TFIII cooler. Since the price is competitive then all the more reason to bring into the market  nod.gif

Dear Clem1982,
Soon we will have the full lineup of TFIII, but it might take some time as new models now coming in TFIII models only. Somehow some of the cards were dropped out of the plan due to costing which when we actually got hold of the price, it's either too near to the higher models or the lower ones.
Thank you for voicing out this idea, we will keep this in mind to improve our MSI brand.
Cheers.

Dear chaics85,
If i understand your question, Afterburner is for you to OverClock but it won't work something like Intel CPU EIST. So during load or idle, you will still run on the speed you set. I believe for VGA there's none where you can do something like EIST mode. Correct me if i'm wrong. Cheers.

Dear linkinawe,
You may get better results of you change the thermalpaste. It's really nice to hear that you like the card. It made our day. A good feedback of our products.

@MSI-MY

Hi MSI-MY,

Thank you for your concern. But I have sent my MSI GTX 560 Ti to the CYCOM shop as I was advice by the MSI official (this is the number I called 03-92819029) to send it through shop as they said they wont take it from END USER.

And the Shop said I have no choice to either send the GPU through them or buy DVI-HDMI converter (what a stupid suggestion, I need audio output la moron). Some more the converter would cost me RM 25 (the cheapest one). So I just send it for RMA through this shop because I need that HDMI port, and I dont want my GPU got further problems later on.

The worst case scenario is that the shop said that the damage of my MSI GTX 560 Ti might void warranty, and will take about 3-4 weeks. they said depends on MSI want to fix it or not. WTF! So I advice to all of you guys think carefully before buy. This thing is not cheap, it cost me RM 800 and right now I may have just wasted it, includes my time and my life. Maybe RM 800 for some of u guys is small, but not for me.

P/s: This is not a make up story, I can send u the receipt and the email screen shot.

Dear rd33,
Please PM the serial number of the VGA so that we could check and also to follow up on this matter.
Sorry for the inconvenience caused as our Repair Centre does not take in warranties for walk in customers. But you can opt to send it to our dealers, distributors or us.
Hope that we could solve the issue for you.
Thank you.

Dear linkinawe,
As TechnoG said, we actually encourage people to change the thermalpaste of our VGA. As long as you know what you are doing. The most important thing is to check the temperature after reapplying. You can use MSI Afterburner to check. As for unscrewing which screw, the main one will be the 4 screws on the Chipset area. Usual VGAs only make use of the 4 screws to attach the heatsink. Make sure you know what material to use to clean the paste. There're loads of theory regarding what material to use. While personally, i just use "minyak angin" to change it.

Lastly, your warranty is not void by reapplying the thermalpaste. So no worries. Cheers.

Dear Vigilant,
Sorry that i missed your post. For now i would advice you to try changing the thermalpaste before changing a 3rd party heatsink. After than monitor your temperature through AfterBurner. There you can adjust the fan speed and it would help actually.

Dear rd33,
Your card is now with our Service Center and we have already authorized them to RMA your card. Cheers.

Dear kop2299,
I'm really sorry that we couldn't trace your card. What we are doing now is to ask our Service Center to update us one they got such a card with HDMI problem.

Dear linkinawe,
Do update us with the results after reapplying the thermalpaste. Thanks.

Dear paradis3lost,
First of all, i would like to advice you to update the mainboard bios to the latest version. If possible, do not use the LiveUpdate, rather do it manually. As for the "PCI Simple Communications Controller" is there any other devices you connect to the PCI slot? It could be anything, Network card, Wireless card, Sata/USB card, etc. Also you can try installing the latest Realtek Lan driver. Our avid software guru, stasio always update the latest version of drivers here in Lowyat.NET. you can get it here.

Dear rd33,
As the parts has been delayed, and also there's no stock with our local disti, our HQ has agreed to fly in one piece to settle this case asap. Therefore once the disti got hold of the piece, then they will contact you for collection. The new card ETA is next Monday/Tuesday to arrive Malaysia. Therefore, kindly PM me your contact number and name to ease the process. Cheers.
