You need to install java developer kit before you can install the android sdk

so ur phone rooted n flashed wit custom roms d?? help me root la bro...i already tried so many guides d...all half way dead....so no choice juz use visionary plus...but i think its kinda useless...

i use visionary temproot and rom manager to 2.3 and stuck in recovery mode.

No you can't use temproot to load custom roms. I really just followed the instructions in the link. Only problem I had was creating the goldcard.

I'm on cyanogenmod 6.1 which is 2.2 based, CM7 based on 2.3 is still in release candidate stage so I'm not getting it yet

1 more question, if i want to change to other ROM, i just need to use the ROM manager app rite?

Yeah you can use ROM Manager. I think I know what your earlier issue was. CM7 needs clockworkmod 3.0 while the rooting guide only gives you 2.something.

forgot where, but the files i download is named "android-sdk_r07-windows.zip".. it has adb.exe inside.

i wanted to downgrade my hboot, then i installed java kit, and android-sdk, then i stucked on next step, on those coding... i follow instruction type on cmd, but it said what unable adb

first, you need to had adb.exe in your C:\AndroidSDK\tools
have you set the Environment Variables setting?
system variables>double click path>add ;C:\androidsdk\tools\

adb.exe? where to get it? btw, when install sdk, it required us to install lots of things, which 1 we can skipped?

download the zip file one.. but better search for "android-sdk_r07-windows.zip".
the latest one got no adb.exe, need to update blablabla,

The easiest way to install Android SDK is to download the exe file. Run the setup and open Android SDK. Install only the USB driver in the Third-Party add-ons and platform-tools folder because if you're not writing or developing apps or Android you won't need all those other files. Then you're good to goo. If you need help on setting up ADB I can give you some help.

Just download the exe files and install those I said above.
