Big problem. I think I just brick my legend. Writing zip took a long time then it failed. I pulled out the usb and now I can't on it anymore. SOLVED: I used a nokia USB cable to connect my phone to comp (BIG MISTAKE). Battery died, so couldn't turn on the phone. PHEW! This post has been edited by Lucassss: Dec 7 2010, 04:53 PM

I've tried rooting my legend again but this time I have a little problem.
Step 1 zip file is taking a very very long time to write, after that I get a failure. I didn't experience this problem when I tried rooting long time ago.
Any help?

QUOTE(o.d @ Dec 8 2010, 02:54 PM) better get it to HTC now. when a device give u electric shock, must be something wrong with it. don't wait until its too late. if the phone get damaged still ok (though not so fine) but u dont wanna get electric burnt or something worse coz of it. Better take it back to HTC. Last time there was a guy who charged his phone on his bed while sleeping, the phone exploded and he died.

QUOTE(whypurplishblue @ Dec 8 2010, 05:54 PM) Wow.. thats scary I'd better send it in. Thanks for that all.. No problem. Before you send it in, just don't charge it overnight and don't put it too close to you while charging. Phones were made to serve us, not blow us up.

Long time ago people were sending a email warning not to charge your phone next to you when you sleep. I think it's a Motorola phone.

One question, my phone is AP from I-don't-know-where, but I used Asian RUU on it before. So do I have to wait I-don't-know-where to get their froyo before I get it?

If you're on version 1.31 then you proceed straight to rooting.
If you're on version 2.05 then downgrade first, then proceed to rooting.
