About PapagoX5 latest maps for Malaysia and Singapore; how to update the latest maps I downloaded from Malfreemap site? It is a *.exe file, about 150Mb and there is no instruction given.

Sorry I never update a GPS map before.

It should be copied to our internal SD card. Not in the ROM partition.
I still have 10Gb available as free space. No reason yet to buy an external SD card. tongue.gif

Kies sucks.. After update to 10103_100. Now cannot connect, forever stuck at "connecting" icon... Now that Froyo is near, Kies wanna give me problem.. sigh

zzzzz got kies to recognise my phone and stop mtp application from flickering to homescreen and back to mtp again.

i reformated the internal sd and had to do a factory wipe. Samsung has sold millions of the galaxy s and still cant get kies to be user friendly.
Instead of making it look nice they should just pay attention on making it just work

Here is the installer in case you don't find it.
Change the extension of the file to *.apk > transfer to your SGS and install.
But you need to enable "unknown sources" in settings and have apk installer, which you can get from the Market.

I notice that charging SGS while it is power off is very fast compare to when you on the phone and charge. Very significant difference.

It is the same for Msia set. Use Market Enabler to simulate other country then you'll see the feature apps on the front page.

I don't know about Froyo pal. i am still on JG4, still waiting for official Froyo though (& now Kies giving me problem mad.gif ). You need to ask for many sifus here on flashing to Froyo. flex.gif

There are differences under the hood. Froyo supports flash 10.1 and better JIT compiler. These two features are important for me though.. brows.gif

Go see a real phone at Maxis my friend. Why u want to see my video? It is basically the same as posted on youtube.

Btw, the recording in HD is superb. Love it. I use it to record my friend's wedding and then port it to watch on a 32" HD TV. The quality is amazingly comparable to DVD.
