My google maps updated automatically for me. I just access the market and it started to download by itself. No problem so far.

Thanks. I already downloaded z4root. But I am not going to apply OCLF. I want to apply Voodoo lagfix.

How long it takes for you to download the binary files just now? It is very long for me here.

After 2 and a half hours, finally upgraded to Froyo thru Kies.

Firmware ver: 2.2
Baseband ver: I9000DXJPA
Kernel ver: 2.6.32.9root@SE-S604 #1 (Why root?, Official froyo got root?)
Build no: FROYO.DXJPA

Reporting from froyo stock browser.
1. Playing flash is laggy. Better to disable it for better experience.
2. Mark improvement in smoothness but cannot beat eclair + voodoo.
3. Quadrant score only around 980 + only.
4. Dunno why my kernel shows root but it is not rooted (could be due to the update.zip file I left at the home directory maybe)
5. Found no improvement in batt performance, no bad either. Still the same.

Overall, like it. Hehe

GPS working for me. First time initialize Papago, can lock within 5 sec in my car. Navigation is ok. Not sure where the sensor aiding function is helping. Gallery seems faster than before.

Samsung tries to ape LauncherPro. At least now they are innovating now due to competition.

Nothing much changes on the inside. The telephony function now can do sms as well. rclxms.gif

Updated to flash 10.1 but better to disable it or put on demand coz using it will be laggy at some website.
