QUOTE(mengsuan @ Nov 21 2010, 10:34 AM) Once in ext2, the proc never enter sleep mode. Check *#*#info#*#* how do u type the word info at the keypad while entering the *#....Converting back to rfs causes data loss. Apps and sync setting including contacts gone. Now i am out and i have no capability to recover my phone. Market disappeared as well. I am now having one hell of a time. You can try converting back to rfs (incl restore kernel)if you want to try. |

QUOTE(jujx @ Nov 21 2010, 11:44 PM) Did you enable lagfix? Did you flash special kernel? it ain't placebo. it actually fast & smooth. One thing i notice is, if you got the app 'spare parts', go change the windows transition animation speed to fast, it feels smoother! Maybe just placebo effect but maybe not Added on November 21, 2010, 11:58 pm QUOTE(Sk8teR @ Nov 21 2010, 11:53 PM) Help me... T_T go apply ur lagfix again u will feel th smooth liaoFor some reason i had to Factory Reset my SGS.... After that i reinstall Doc V8.0.1 and YA-OK! Yet-another Kernel... but i feel its very lagging... i test with Quadrant.. i got below 1000 only.... before it was aroung 1600. What can i do...? QUOTE(sengasdf @ Nov 22 2010, 09:35 AM) Flashing through CWM is hassle-free no la... u jz download the files from XDA, then use odin, put the tar file in PDA, leave rest blank. DO NOT CHECK partition.By the way, I am wondering how is the Ya-OK kernal performing... was using speedmod i1.2 at the moment, would flash directly to Ya-OK give me problem? that it. QUOTE(GreenGoat @ Nov 22 2010, 11:45 AM) no prob on my device wor... i m on v 8.0.1 + Ya-OK v1.3 + tweaked IO + VM, no RFS + ext4, window and animation "fast" via spare part.If u can't make a call, i doubt it is something to deal with ur apn setting, what about redo the whole thing again, wipe, factory reset, flashed..? When u backup, try not to backup the system, ie, after a clean a start, do all the system setting again, don't restore it. i also attach my apn setting for u here. Menu > Setting > wireless and network > mobile networks > Access Point Names Name : Maxis APN : unet Proxy : 202.75.133.49 Port : 80 User name : maxis Password : wap Server : Maxis MMS MMSC : http://172.16.74.100:10021/mmsc MMS proxy : 202.75.133.49 MMS port : 80 MCC : 502 MNC : 12 Authentication type : none APN type : internet + mms After doing this, reboot / restart ur fon. that should be able to work actually, why u change to JPD modem? izzit because of the voice issue? |

QUOTE(GreenGoat @ Nov 22 2010, 01:12 PM) yes.. some forumer says change to modem JPP or JPD.. but now when i wanna try the change, my apn screwed.. I always put my phone on 2g. If i find my GPRS is dam slow, ie i behtahan, then i will just switch to 3g to surf... with that setting i wrote, i got it from maxis customer service, didnt have much problem so far. As i always reset it whenever i flash to a new ROM. i find if i backup system then restore it, it some how screw up a bit. Well, retype the setting doesnt take much time :-)is ur setting works on both 2G n 3G? i read somewhere that unet is for 3G and net for 2G Just make the ROM clean la.. ie wipe everything then flashed.. u guarantee gonna like the suggested features from jujx, ie Ya-ok, spare part muahahaha... There is no option from whatsapp to stop it at boot. Someone also felt that the stock kernel may be a batt sucker, but not on Ya-OK. |
