How much it cost if I upgrade my normal Astro to Astro B.Yond?

Dunno if you guys have this problem, but everytime i change channel from hd to normal it will downsize the screen to 4:3. So i have to change it everytime i change the channel! It's so annoying...any solution to it? Thx...

2) all my HD channel got permanent msg appear saying 'copy protection failed'. annoying la to watch movie like dis. hehehe. (i tried to browse this thread but too many pages and i ended up nowhere... help....)

3) i'm using sony bravia dunno what model (but very old ones la). i see got hdmi channel. but the astro installer connet the red-white-yellow wires to my previously used 'video1' lobangs. is this correct? i tot astro hd should use hdmi channel...? am i getting a low-quality hd channel like this?

so that means, the remote control audio from the tv, not the decoder eh? looks like i'm dead. because my tv set was a gift from my brother. he said that tv is meant for display only. so it doesnt come with remote control. all the while i had to manually press the button on top. buying pasar malam remote control also useless since he said, no signal receiver installed in that tv set... adui.. nevertheless, i'll try to do that programming thing tonight.

as for the HDCP, how do i know whether my tv support HDCP or not? and what's the latest firmware? i tot mine is the latest la since they just pasang my byond yesterday...

currently I have astro b.yond that is connected to the satellite dish in the master-bed  room.
However, i just bought a new 50' tv which is located at the living room.
I am able to receive astro over there BUT d HD channels are really horrible. If i were to purchase another b.yond box, how would the process be?
Would i be charged extra every month/ is it 2 seprate accounts or what?

Wah Lai Toi is a cantonese channel and there are more mandarin channels on Astro platform too.  If there is demand for Hakka, Teochew and etc, I believe Astro would add those channels in future.  Hua Hee Tai is a hokkien channels Astro added years back.

What mandarin movies are you referring to showing in Cantonese on Astro? and which astro channels then?

Astro is stopping AOD and Dynasty packages after Chinese New Year, due to the debate over Mandarin and Cantonese

I have a 3 Astro accounts under my name. Applied to upgrade to Byond for 2 of them last month. After 1 month, they can only install 1 Byond and activated after 2 days  . Another account still pending for installation. It is more than 1 month. I think it is a record now.

What is worst is that they cancelled the wrong smartcard/account! Resulting my mom cannot watch Astro for days. Her decoder has not changed to Byond yet. Many calls have been made and yet they can't seems to correct their mistake. 

Use it on another decoder? Dream on ...

Asstro started this smartcard pairing since they launch byond in Dec 2009 and up till now after 1 year +, I haven't heard hackers able to crack this. Maybe they need to try harder..
