strange thing is that - when i connect only hdmi to tv, i only can get sound if i choose digital (all others no sound), but if the audio format is HD audio, i can't get any sound output, i guess i must connect it using the red and white cable (for this set i only have a non hdmi amp which has no optical input)
HDMI cable also carries audio, digital audio. You'll hear the sound if the lcd can decode the audio format. In your case, you didn't hear HD audio because you tv doesn't support hd audio decoding. As for my lcd, I cannot hear audio at all eventhough I've tried all the audio settings. I guess my LCD is too old already. I bought it when the lcd price was still expensive.

Thanks. I found out was my tv settings problem. Some how renaming the source could disable the audio system. Dumb of me.
So far so good. I'm enjoying it. Didn't realise it never play .flv format.
I didn't realize it doesn't support flv. I'm gonna check mine. Weird coz youtube is in flv format already..

Are you sure WD is using realtek chipset?
http://techreport.com/articles.x/16565which is suppose to be better than realtek (eg:ac ryan)
Correct me if im wrong.
Oh.. really sorry.. it's sigma isn't it? Thanks for correcting me. One of the difference is,
one can play RMVB while another one cannot.
One question from me, does it support 3TB hard disk using the official firmware?
