how about the IQ and sharpness?
i heard the new lens is sharper than the famous 70200f4L IS(which is sharper than both 70200f2.8 IS mk1 and Non IS)

sharpness of image depends on what ?
i always see nikon's image is sharper than canon.. (

Have you tried playing around with the sharpness settings under Picture Styles? I set to to as high as 5 on my 40D as the default settings aren't sharp enough for my liking.

shoot in RAW also cant rescue...
tried to save some shots that are still ok

tried already.. ~

edit: d reason y it is hard to shoot is d lighting is using few headlights of cars... make d lighting kinda weird.
it is an outdoor photoshoot though

did not bring my flash...tats my biggest mistake cz my fren say no need to bring since got 6 cars...
but end up he wans d background lighting...
as u can c d car headlight from d front is not strong enuf to light up d whole subject

for me it's a good pictures,but then quite messy and also as well as u know,the lighting..

Wah.. this one very challenging to shoot leh.

Maybe you can share the EXIF for the pics?

I think you should've used spot metering, then dial down to even a stop of exposure compensation to get a faster shutter speed, at least 1/100 needed here. Then bring it up again in PP later. The background cars are distracting anyways.. you only need the lights to be shown right.
