Which would be better, especially when there's people moving around?- AI focus or AI servo? hmm.gif

AI focus and Servo is 2 different things. AI focus is AI servo and One shot in one mode. So let's say your are shooting something still, it will use one shot. When it moves, AI servo kicks in and does the job. Where as one shot does not allow you to track moving subjects and AI servo allows you. Usualy you use AI focus when you are unsure what is your subject next move. smile.gif

Answering your question, you use AI servo. You can use AI focus as well if you are unsure that your subject will continue moving or stay still.

The reason why I stick with canon over nikon is because it gives me more freedom at my early stages. Everything is straight forward and I don't have to worry about lenses with motor or no motor. Not only that, after playing with canon system, I feel their focus speed and accuracy is much better when it comes to moving subject. I don't have any facts to back up but if you ask those sports photographer, they will tell you the same. It gets the job done more easily compared to Nikon. I depends on what you want and what you look forward to. At time I am jealous of the color range that Nikon produces. smile.gif If I have the chance to go for a D3s, I wouldn't mind the change. I have no problem with any system as long as I can do my work, get paid, make clients happy. laugh.gif I am more than happy biggrin.gif
