most people poisoned by bokeh la but look at the best photos in the world, they're not bokefied photos.

talk to the pros, you'll see that they find bokeh is like an "Easy way out" on things. no challenge wan, take photo background blur. imaging couple pay you to snap photo in Paris, you want to f1.2 all the way blur out all the background ah?

try going for competition or stock photo - you're never penalized for the lack of bokeh creaminess, unless it's distracting. but you often get penalized, or even considered fail when there's not enough detail or lack

All those who say they don't want L lens n better camera are liars! It's just like how everybody wants nicer car, bigger house, more money in the bank. Don't bluff yourself la, it's bad for health. Bluff other people is ok, just don't bluff yourself.

Ya I love GT5. It's excellent for photography kakis too. Got photo taking abilities 1. U can take pictures of the cars while racing, drifting, panning shot, static shot, choose shutter speed, aperture n all.

I think that's cos we usually shoot closer/more personal/wider with compacts. With DSLR, one tend to avoid sticking it into the subject's face.

Izit better for me to get the 550D with 18-55mm or 18-105mm lens?
What are your suggestions? What is the difference between them?

Or get the 18-55mm first then later upgrade to 18-105mm lens (maybe in the future)

Wanna ask regarding battery grip.  I read that battery grip helps you to stabilize your DSLR. How true is this? Planning to get one soon. XD

99% of the entry level bodies I see out there with grips all using kitlens or 55-250. Apa mau balance?????? All wanna look pro oni la.

I bought a battery grip coz Canon force me to buy with the camera. No choice. Canon robbed me!!!!

but nikonian and sony user will laugh when they see canon user with battery shooting vertically without using the battery grip. LOL. sometimes this happen to me..

damn... My street shoot today turned out to be a bikini shoot
