n8 shots so nice? seriously on auto mode?

anyways, i found a thread in lowyat, seller name ebiz2u, he recently msg me that 16gb class 10 microsd is currently available, so future dual/triple booters want to organize a bulk ><? My internet is totally rubbish so i don dare organize it.

the discount depends on how many is purchased,
normal price is RM150 including postage, i consider it quite cheap oredi, but im quite sceptical on kingmax brand

no one tried the new hostmode beta ? but its compiled against PR1.3, so its either hostmode kernel or OC kernel. cant have both...

better than brands like DNA...

super_evil_alien already going on with 8GB class 10 bulk. kingmax as well...

but 16GB class 10 for RM150 is a bargain as well...

I'm testing myself with beta usb-otg..wonder still not working with my usb drive.
then, my pl-11 coming in from poslaju, wanna take a pic with fcam and "oh my, otg dun have fcam drivers yet. so i'm gonna remove this app. Guess wat, after remove, I'm granting myself a rootfs reflash due to reboot loop

lucky I got a backup last saturday which nothing to lose right now (apart from losing time to redownload all apps back, sigh)

anyways, any steps can be taken other than reflash or "u should study, google blablabla"? wonder if can access command line to reinstall vanilla kernel back which sound impossible to say. LOL
Ok, probably the solution might be reflash the kernel only:

sudo ./flasher-3.5 -F <firmware-image> --flash-only=kernel -f -R (yeah, I know its in linux LOL).

windows will be liek this

flasher-3.5.exe -F R.bin --flash-only=kernel -f -R

Anyone can verify this is correct?

With kamikaze style i had in heart, I run the command and voila!
its alive!

perhaps Super_Evil update the command for kernel reflash on FP? or izzit already there?

it's true..i've seen 4 N8 users simultaneously in one utama NCC last friday..i was there to send my N900..one of them said that there's a problem with the display..and one of em said about speakers..

owh super_evil_alien..i read the FP about flashing method..i thought we shouldn't boot in between flashing firmware and emmc?if u want to flash both, the flashing firmware part shouldn't include the -R,eg: flasher-3.5.exe -F firmware.bin -f (enter)

then only include the -R at the end of emmc flashing command : eg - flasher-3.5.exe -F emmc.bin -f -R

lol...as in we are hardcore...they are Normal lor...like gaming level...Elementary, Beginners, Normal, Hardcore...something like this I guessss

I'm not gonna be in KL until the school hols start so anyone can help? Now suffering for choosing a 2 year old device using an outdated mass memory slot (miniSD).

wow..16GB class 10 for RM150 is really a good bargain..but yes, i doubt the quality as well coz there's still no local review about it..if there's any current user who are using Kingmax, kindly give your review about it..huhu..

@jananan: Yeah it supports microsdhc cards, problem here is finding retail packs of those cards with bundled minisd adaptors. Has anyone seen Sandisk or Kingston 8-16GB cards that come with minisd adaptors these days? Malas to go buy from the net really.
