Is Suzuki FX125 parts fully imported from Japan?
*
yeah... Suzuki originals. ENKEI Japan rim some more.

QUOTE(UncleCheang @ Nov 23 2010, 05:37 PM)
Why FX125 so power one? I thought that bike only 125cc ?
*
It's like Belang, only slightly smaller... frame is tougher than LC, so cornering more stable.

I've seen modded 150cc  FX tapau-ed fully modded 125Z before. think bout it yourself smile.gif
@ alexei : once in mudah, i saw old stock unreg FX was advertised for RM2.4k, still expensive for 96's bike.
*
oh, really? Cheap lah... now 2nd hand starting 3k loh...
I'm looking for FX rim for my RGV. Mudah selling ~300-500.
Give up liao, going to change to RB 8-spoke, 1.6F + 1.8R. Sayang only white color for this size.
Tokico offer me RM190 for the set.
Mudah selling 2.15 (racing spec for LC) at RM300, is that normal price?

@Jing, I know u got 1 set RB-8 for sale, but that one for 125Z, so I didn't ask you. Not ngam Suzuki esp the front meter part.

@Spayz: this one for you: rclxms.gif
ZSR Cyclone... fastest 150cc 2-stroke

guys, need help. my farrelli tire just gave up on me this morning after 2 months use. is there any suitable size for rear besides 80/90 & 70/90? juz want cheapo tire for 1 month usage since i have many spare tires at home (since i'm currently at penang). 1 more, if i don't want to lower fork, what viscosity should i change my fork oil?
*
what happened to the tire? punctured or what?
stock fork oil is 15w. if you like it, keep to it. If want a slower fork respond, use 20w. Don't use lighter fork oil than stock coz cornering will melayang, coz tire can't keep traction on road...

QUOTE(lautuckwa @ Nov 23 2010, 11:20 PM)
huh .. i tot after 1000km must go service liao ?? I live in Kulim .. nearest to me is penang one .. then if no go HLY then the warranty ma no use liao??
*
use the HLY package first. the EO they give is lousy but suitable for break-in.
read the link in my siggy about engine break in.

why no one suggest using CASTROL POWER1 RACING?
this EO is fully synthetic with less price..around 30+-

I use that for my 2T, yeah, my preferred oil, actually.
4T haven't try...

*
40 is fine, in my opinion.
30 is too viscous and engine easily vibrate and noisy.
50 can be too thick, and make engine feels heavy after warmed up.

Different story if mix 30 with 40, or mix 40 with minyak kelapa sawit... or peanut butter for some. biggrin.gif

tyre pressure at 500??? that's nuts...

keep at 200. if the tyre to bouncy, reduce to 190, then 180 is the minimum.

Jing sure went paktoh with the avatar loh...
My RGV steering cone damage, got knocking sound under hard braking. Will cost ~60 to repair.

Alarm is good to 'scare' ppl off, better put immobilizer like the 'secret switch', together with a few locks.

If battery dead, refill with water also no use. Need to recharge. Btw, those are just 'air suling', safe to drink and cheaper than Spritzer. If really one day need to change battery, replace with maintenance free one. One indication of battery weak is if the headlight or brake light always blow.

Left one is idling, right one is air fuel...(if not mistaken) Set ur air fuel around 1 and 5/8 turns or 2 turns... Talk about air fuel I noticed that during rainy morning I manage to see some white smoke coming out from the exhaust just like the water vapour, does it mean my mixture is too lean??? And I try to open the choke then my engine macam mau mati... Y??? Or maybe my mixture already too rich during that time laugh.gif This coming Saturday/Sunday Mr.Alex free mo??? biggrin.gif
*
White smoke got 2 types: water vapor or EO. In your case, it's most likely water vapor.
QUOTE
This is normal, it's becoz rainy day, or even on cold mornings, the water vapor in exhaust gas will condensate as it travel along the cold exhaust pipe surface and then pumped out into the air forming water droplets, kinda like cloud, and when it will go away... Once exhaust pipe heat up liao, no more.

This weekend boh-eng again, VIP visit.

My MPS after 2000km.
1. Front tyre size 90/80 has a problem. The place where the left half and right half join has a mold mark, and the tire starts to chip. This happens at every tread along the whole tyre.
2. Rear tyre size 110/90 - haven't been cornering a lot...
3. Rear tyre - slight squaring.

@skyz: your EO "Shell Ultra Fully Synthethic 10w-40w", is it from car EO?

QUOTE
If brake noisy, service the caliper especially the piston. Next time when I service mine, I take photo. Brake is 'accurate' now, once tekan, it will grip the disc, and if tekan more also won't reach last two finger that's holding the handlebar. Some more I'm not using steel hose.

Once I change to 1.6 front, 1.85 rear rims, I'm gonna use 80/90F and 90/80R tires... that's of course after I use up the current 70/90F and 80/90R Farrelli tires... biggrin.gif

QUOTE(Aaron135LC @ Dec 2 2010, 07:05 PM)
btw.. i just found out about the break-in process... after reading the Q n A part..
for break-in.. must use petroleum based EO.. not the synthetic...

why this happens.. btw.. to backup with this.. i can notice the difference btw my uncle wan waja and my parents previous waja..
my uncle said.. 1st timebuy car.. change the EO to rubber smell, thicker type EO.. i think should be petroleum based..
after results.. guess wat.. my uncle wan automatic waja can hit 210km/h flat...
whereas.. my fren driving manual waja.. newer a bit than my uncle wan.. same engine.. can hit only 195km/h flat on the road.. car really makes a lot of difference..if the break-in process done correctly..

i last few days...drove my uncle waja.. press pedal for 1cm only.. car ade move around 70km/h
*
Waja got many versions, the older the more powerful.
For engine break-in, can read the article in my siggy also...
1. Use light mineral EO - SAE 30W is good, RM10.
2. Ride the bike hard, but keep the temperature low. Remember the youtube? Full throttle, let go, full throttle... this is to prevent overheating of the block wall.
3. After break-in, the piston ring and block has perfect fit liao. To keep this good fit, keep the air filter on. Any dust particles that goes between the piston ring and block will distrupt the 'harmony'.

QUOTE(UncleCheang @ Dec 2 2010, 08:54 PM)
Change block and redo the break in lor, hehe...  brows.gif

BTW, how come no people mention about 80/80 eh tyre one? 80/80 size no good is it?  hmm.gif
*
Rebore block can liao...
SPM ah... haha...
QUOTE
Long long time ago, I got 5A1 - Kimia, Bio, Eng, Math & A.Maths. A2 for Physics.

I think 80/80 is RARE... I imagine for bigger rim size than 80/90. But since 80/90 fits a 1.6... then 80/80 should fit a 1.85, then I would go straight to 90/80 on a 1.85 liao.

If it's with coolant and radiator cap, the water won't boil at 100 deg C anymore... Just make sure radiator is full when cap is closed (as little air as possible), make sure reservoir is filled with coolant. After that, never need to open radiator cap at all, just check coolant reservoir.

lagi satu aku perasan choke LC aku 'ringgan' masa nak tarik tu..
moto lagenda aku dulu 'keras' skit.. ?? hmm.gif

When you tried that, is the engine already warmed up? What is your idling RPM?

- If already warmed up, pulling choke to start engine will cause it to cease.
- If engine is cool, and you can start engine without the choke, then PROBABLY your air screw is slightly rich... kasi adjust kurang angin sikit.

If everything is normal, then MAYBE, you only need to pull the choke SLIGHTLY to start the engine, let it warm up, then turn off the choke. Imagine choke lever is like throttle also, cannot pull it to 100% to warm up engine, as it will cause petrol overflow. For my bike, I choke 30-50% to warm up.

The clutch lever, xpayah keras sangat, just enough to hold the clutch spring from pulling back the choke should be fine.

Can share what engine/exhaust mod?
Bila last service?
Service apa?

Under what riding condition it will sedut2?
- Full throttle? Half throttle? Or steady riding?
- Which gear it happens, and at what speed?

When engine sedut, what happens when you:
- pull throttle to accelerate?
- release throttle?

In my experience, when engine tune is sedap, at certain RPM range with steady throttle, engine will sedut2 at all gear position. When I tarik throttle, it will accelerate nicely. I need to cruise at higher RPM to avoid sedut2.
