well now TV getting cheaper, but not so cheap as expected because of weak MYR & also our beloved GST 

Why would you want to rush? I normally would at least have a look at the physical unit to see and assess for myself. In any case, maybe there will be better offers in future rather than making a rush decision which you may regret later. Then the discounted price seemed expensive because you bought the wrong TV. Just my 2 sen POV.

i think that if your unifi's 30mpbs service is running full-steam, 4k materials should be able to stream smoothly but if others in your household start doing their things then you might get into buffering situations. for my (old) eyes, there is definitely a difference watching 4k youtubes vs 1080p stuff - my 28-yo son who definitely has better eyes than mine can attest to it. but frankly, after a while, 1080p stuff are really quite good enough as my ku6000 does a good job in scaling up.

time's 100mbps service seems enough to stream 4k without any hiccups, even with all 5 family members happily using their devices all at the same time. now, obviously there is still a hard limit to what 100mbps can do, so now i am looking at spending another rm40 to upgrade to 300mbps. 

Haha... On the TV remote, there should be an "Info" button.. What model is the TV or can post image of the remote.. No need to take your remote picture if it isn't nearby. Just google Samsung remote images.. Sure find one..
