on specs alone i cant jusitfy much bro..aside from the clear motion rate 100 vs 200. other than that its similar. (aside from the smart features)
Mega Contrast vs None (This is probably sales gimmick, but then its series 6 vs 5)
DTS Premium Sound 5.1 vs DTS 2.0
4 HDMI vs 2 HDMI ports (Android box, Hypptv/Astro, HT/Blueray Player, Game, laptops, Digicams, etc. Notice how suddenly 2 ports isn't future proof. Sure you can get a HDMI switcher, but native is always best)
3 USB vs 1 USB port (Sure, u can always use a usb hub but native is better)
Ethernet (LAN) vs None (IMHO, Much better for streaming Netflix & HULU constantly in 1080P, cuz majority of media boxes don't support full 1080P)
Wifi Direct vs None
HDMI ARC support vs None (This + the extra HDMI ports are major points if you have a ARC supported HT or intend to buy one in the future)
Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) vs None (Smart remote control between Anynet+ enabled devices)
Sure you aren't interested in the smart tv features but that doesn't mean you ditch a better set. The fussy "smart" part you don't need can always be turned off. Mainly refusing their terms and conditions & not connecting it to the internet severely restricts its operations. Ultimately the decision on which falls on you, hence ur budget & asking you take media files and play on both.
