Well. During my Vivaz era, I hv extensively tested Vivaz 8mp vs my old Pana Lumix TZ10.. Vivaz wth much smaller sensor already pawned TZ10 how to compare wth sub-RM1K digicam leh...Thiose sub RM1K digicam also having mostly auto setting haha...Onlyt that this Canon 300HS, S90 & etc havingf manual speed controls & thus able to expose longer...I'm just hoping they added the shutter speed in future

Its software limitation, can be fixed, jus a matter of whether Nokia wants to provide this feature?

They could include Aperture Priority Mode, Shutter Priority Mode, and even better, Manual mode. Would be good if have manual focus and also touch focus. At least should provide touch focus, when taking close up shot, if we want to capture something close up but don't want it to be at the middle, we need to apply 'focus lock' technique which is quite troublesome and might slightly get out of the focus range when move to the desired spot.

I would guess he means 3.5 Frames Per Second capable camera that can take a lot of shots continously by holding down the shutter button. Just my 2 sens.

it refers more to frame per second here.....fps machine gun might refer to his dslr or video cam

Of course, camera can't la... Just hoping Nokia generous enough to provide this feature for it famous camera phone. That's why I wanted to compare with sub RM1k camera which are mostly have auto setting. To compare with above 1k camera can't do justice with N8.

I compare my old K770i with PowerShot 465, and I found out both have almost equal picture quality. Previously, since my DSLR got stolen (that 2 years ago) , I just used my K770i for my main camera (5800 camera totally a ). But recently, someone give me PowerShot 465 as a gift. I'm really shocked the image quality is not much different except 465 has a few setting to play with. So, I really hope N8 can replace any sub 1k camera so I can replace my old K770i.

actually FPS got 2 meanings
usually game magazine is refer to first person shooter in game genre.

sifu aspire.. have u got the chance to look at the exif for close up mode? it show 100% digital zoom for some of my shots... and when i use digital zoom with close up mode, the exif show 200% digital zoom..
