Any paper or your comments of Pet Chem? I am a bit worry when reading about its cyclical earnings attribute. Last year's earnings dropped, but this year fine. And the company doesn't wanna give forecast earnings to the public, dunno what's the reason? hmm.gif

Actually i won't say it's wrong but i know beers industries quite well. Let me put it this way
1 beer profit margine = 25%

So 1 bottle beer sell for RM10, company gain RM2.5
if Gov Hike Tax lets say to RM12, company gain RM3

the standard trent even ever there is a hike, there will be slowdown for a period of 6 months and will pick up again.
Yes, less people might drink but with the profit margine... u do the math.

Btw, those figure is not real just sample.
Real figure is not Allowed.  whistling.gif
*
real figure is...45% whistling.gif

I'm waiting for institutions to begin the real game here. Sarawak play, what else if not Naim? tongue.gif

My worry on MEGB is that I don't know much on their academic quality, and I haven't heard if they got associate programs link with reputable foreign academies. The most worry is their tight business connection with government instead of direct competition to other private academies (i understand there are, but very much smaller scales and hard to compete with them). Meaning, if one day, government changes policy before MEGB having solid foundation, the big issue may arise.

I also looking at it for few days, and decided to wait and see until seeing more confidence on their ability in business. smile.gif

I remember someone asking for WellCall paper. Just got the latest one from HLe. 3 month TP 1.30, but this one may need strong holding power. May have another round of selling if quarter report is real bad.
*
That would be me. tongue.gif
Thank Q Many Much!! notworthy.gif

CIMB's TP is 1.82 in September. Now both HSBC and Hong Leong rate TP of 1.30.

For those who read chinese, here's sin chew daily's write up.
http://biz.sinchew-i.com/node/40513

Basically, because of strong rubber price and strong RM, its profit drops from profit of 19.7% to 19%.
Estimated divvy for upcoming quarter is 6 sen.

2.80 lower than my TP le . I thought can hit 3.xx like year 2007. Their earnings has catch up, just that the debts in the balance sheet is a bit sick.

Option 1) 1.33 UEMLAND for every 1 SUNRISE offered.

Option 2) 2.80 RCPS for every 1 SUNRISE offered.

RCPS will not be listed. Duration: 2 years. Dividends: NIL. Cash conversion: Rm1.30 .
*
Maybank gives TP of 2.80, so it's consider a fair price loh, but no premium. laugh.gif
Can you vote to reject offer? For Plus case, investors still can vote to reject is it?

When I first started to play this stock thing, people told me about this thing that they proud of: technique of average down.
Later, I realize this is totally wrong approach. It shouldn't even exist in the first place, because all it does is just a misleading mindset.
The only technique we should care of is this: looking good on the stock, buy. Looking bad, sell to cut loss. This already includes the so called "average down" inside without misleading our mindset.

Usually the uptrend going fast, no "guts" to catch the chance
or the uptrend is trap, then "doom"
*
Agree!
So we should press sell at least on the newly purchased portion of the stock to get earnings when we realize it could be a trap instead of care too much on the overall average price of the stock and stuck there. rolleyes.gif
