QUOTE(cherroy @ Nov 9 2010, 01:50 PM) My view, buying stock that going down during bull market is not a good idea. In bull market, you don't adopt buy low sell high (as most stocks are going up, so there is no low for you to buy, only problematic stocks so either ended no buy, or buy some problematic stock). In bull market, you adopt buy high sell higher. This reminds me of my poor performance Daibochi. The company continues share buy back into treasury recently as its price laggard. As some forumers feedback on it is the rubber price issue....however, the newly listed GW plastic performs very well, even above institutional TP....Err...is plastic rubber eh?

QUOTE(Currylaksa @ Nov 9 2010, 09:57 PM) It's because of the nitrile margins, but I read that glove players (and new ones) are expanding further into nitrile. Not sure if the added competition will hurt the generous margins? if supermax is buying latexx and topglove is buying harta, then no change in their market share.

QUOTE(cypher @ Nov 10 2010, 10:05 AM) all cash out for OSK liao?? i still holding it le.. all panic on news and profit taking liao. i'm still holding though. but will monitor it closely. i think although news may not be true, but it's not that bad even if without the news. now super bull, volume is about 3 times as compare to few months back. so osk's profit should be shooting up to the sky.

Added on November 10, 2010, 11:09 amQUOTE(panasonic88 @ Nov 10 2010, 10:37 AM) Rumour put aside On TA view, Alex says, "OSK broke above the strong horizontal resistance at RM1.55-1.60 & flew. Its next resistance is at RM2.00, RM2.25 & RM2.40. After its sharp rise yesterday, the stock may have to consolidate for a while before challenging these resistance levels." T+3 traders stay away. Hong Leong's comments: Channel checks suggest that both the company could be in preliminary talks but no firm deal has been struck. We believe that Maybank would be eyeing OSK’s retail customer base, regional presence as well as new licence in Cambodia. However, given Ong Leong Huat (OSK’s Group MD/CEO - OLH)’s passion in the business, pricing will be the main stumbling block to any deal. The main question would be the quantum of premium that Maybank is willing to pay to entice OLH. Attached File(s)

QUOTE(Currylaksa @ Nov 10 2010, 11:25 AM) OSK is pro at U-Turns, swinging from BUY to SELL in a matter of weeks Why are they staying the course on Supermax? Hoping for the good to come as gloves(especially supermax) are now really oversold. However, I've sold part of my supermax with lost though. Lower my risk and get some more cash to bet on other gems.

QUOTE(SKY 1809 @ Nov 10 2010, 12:28 PM) You hold TA or OSK I hold osk, bought by following golden finger of Pana. I'm also eying on TA now. Since it seems to me that stockbroking firm's heat has come, news not so important anymore.

QUOTE(mazda626 @ Nov 10 2010, 12:38 PM) Yup oredi average down too.....now need to rely on my super cheap counters Both taikors OSK and CIMB maintain supermax TP at 7.8x (80% upside!!), so should be no big deal as long term investment like how you treated your supermax as retirement fund. Added on November 10, 2010, 1:10 pmKUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s industrial production index (IPI) in September 2010 increased by 5.6% on-year, following strong growth in the manufacturing output but it declined on-month by 0.8%.
The Statistics Department said on Wednesday, Nov 10 the IPI in August 2010 was revised 3.8% on-year.
“The increase in September 2010 was due to the increases in all indices: manufacturing (7.6%), mining (1.7%) and electricity (3.1%),” it said.
The index for the third quarter of 2010 increased 4.3% as compared with the third quarter of 2009.

I'm quite happy for only declined 0.8%. I was expecting much more than this. This post has been edited by yok70: Nov 10 2010, 01:10 PM
