All Telco data line are the same..I was twice charged max of RM250 for exceeded my maxis data line. After numerous complains & one visit to their Sunway pyramid branch, they agreed to waive the charges..after I provided proof of my usage.
On Digi data plan, too, I was once exceeded the same usage & kena charge ~ Rm150...Well, They refused to waive..damn digi |

Digi is somehow different that other telco. Other telco is being reasonable to waive the necessary..
For Digi, once you have sign the plan. They will ask you to either continue with the plan, or you cancel the plan but u still have to pay for all the charges(even the charges are not right)... I ask them to explain, they cannot explain also... just ask me to take it or leave it:) |

Bro, might wanna consider 'censoring' the name and address for privacy reasons. For the crazy high bill charges during roaming, I believe in DiGi there are some measures being done already, so you won't have to faint to 5 figure bills any more. Not too sure about other telcos. But that doesn't mean we can take things for granted though. I believe many LYN members have already highlighted most of the precautions we should take when we go roaming with smartphones. |

Sweetpuff, I agree with you that @MNet should consider to censor the name/address.
By the way, I am very pity to this person. As far as I know, he was upset that the bill shoot up so high and it took him at least 1 month to get issue resolved. During that 1 month time, he did not get any positive update from Digi on the progress. His line get barred but monthly charges (RM150) still imposed to his bill. So basically he is paying money but cannot use the services. When he called Digi, everyone just tell him that it is under investigation and no one give him the timeframe as in when will it get resolved. <This is what I always called "Bad Customer Experience> To me, Digi always does thing in re-active rather than pro-active. If a little effort can be done such as <Good follow up/Courtesy>, I bet Digi can be the best Telco in M'sia. You may need to advice your top bosses to see how Telenor running their services in Europe. It has some different tho. Do feel free to let me know if you want me to share more about "Customer Centric"... |

last time my brother (he is my subline) somehow accidentally use 3g data, end up with 2k bill, and i have set my line barring limit at 150. i went over to Maxis centre fooked them kao, and i wont pay the bill because it's their system error did not barred at 150 and overcharge, i wont be paying and i am quitting maxis, few days later KL call me (i'm base in sarawak) and ask me to pay the bill, we talked till at a point they threaten me that they going to sue me if i dont pay, i said i am waiting for ur 'lawyer letter' so i can publish in newpaper(threaten back)... after a month (i didnt use maxis anymore) they send me a letter (oh shit? naaaaa) to waive all charges and this(that) month charges, nicely said 'you can continue to use your mobile as normal'.
then several months later, they call me to answer some questionaire -.- how good is their service, i simply answer just to entertain the nice lady voice over, then they rebate me rm40 for next 6 month... no bad. u have to be fierce, the girl/guy over the phone also just only an employee follow the book, u screw them till cry, let the manager come out, screw him/her till cry also. *offtopic: same case with my astro account, they 'free' some package thing to me, because my account got draw for it, never watch it anyway, called it ask, if it auto disconnect after the free trial over? "yes". after the free trial, they charge me, i call in again, told them i already talk to them previously, they say auto disconnect, so they should revert the bill (i use auto debit) then, the next bill come again, charge again! (2nd time) i go up to astro center, fook the counter lady till cry (kinda regret, she so pretty! should ask her number, she cry and ran off to the toilet*) i walk off, afternoon, the manager of my town astro center called me and apologies and will look into the matter), next 3 days, i everyday get call from the manager updating me... and my bill got rebate (2 months no need to pay, wooohoo). u have to be fierce. ^^; This post has been edited by ieR: Apr 6 2011, 01:29 PM |

i kena also... but my on fault.. i upgraded my dataplan then end up i got 2 dataplan on bill.. zzzz.. maxis charged 250 for overuse

let me share you my exp with maxis. isubscribe maxis broadband for a year. after a year i decided to terminate and went to maxis centre kuantan to return my modem and clearing all outstanding bill. amazingly i still receive a bill 4 month after termination whichtotal of several hundred ringgit. that how shit is maxis
