gayrena isnt that bad, honestly and the playerbase is increasing. i used to play NA and 200-300 ping was no problem at all but i sometimes have issue with farming but switched to gayrena ping gone down to 13-18ms. the difference is huge. once in awhile i play NA too, i'll be honest with you, its really huge difference. its playable, but im talking advantage. horrible communities are everywhere, just get out of low elo and get in a team of 2-3 players after a good amount of solo queues. you'll do fine. there is really no diff between NA and SEA other than the obvious smaller population.

Seconded. I wish you people would stop deluding yourselves that the NA server is any better than the gayrena one in terms of community, both are equally as horrible, or good. The ping does make a huge difference in your ability to play well.

I've already invested a lot of time into NA, made lots of friends there. So I don't see why I need to start over here and lose all of my solo q buddies into a similarly bad community that I may or may not understand what they speak (I'm not chinese).

Anyway I'm only in Malaysia until after hari raya, then I got to go back.

ok i'll try redownload Gayrena to give it a shot.

The last time I download and run the client it crashed on my Windows 7 64 bit... the thing just dissapear without a reason. That's why got so pissed with it

they dont speak chinese at gheyrena

normal queues are fast, ranked is still long queue. problem is still the same, low player count.

since day 1 in gayrena, nobody has spoken chinese in any of my games. in rare occasion, there are some malay speakers but out of 500+ games i've played there, maybe 1-3 games i've encountered that which was just recently. other than that, all english speakers or people who dont own a keyboard.

fine i'll apologize for the misconception.

i just installed Gayrena client and ran (downloaded the client in the office due to being a weekend).

Haha but now it's taking ages to find players at level 1.. lol guess I joined too late xD

hey all, im playing in ga-rena server too, was from NA but back then no one knew how to remove the ip ban, so i transferred account to SEA

ps. ga-rena isnt that bad... average 10 secs for a normal game and 2-3 mins for a ranked.

1 guy(Brandt) left in game when we're doing ok at level 4.. was amumu in the game with 6 kills/5deaths. Opposing team is quite pro as if they played LoL before.

Found out I had to start all over in Gayrena. Unless, if I choose to transfer everything from NA to it. Which I'm afraid not at this point of time.

True, the ping is way better than NA server. Just that starting over with a new nick? Tough man.. very very tough. Took me almost a year to reach where I am with all the unlocks I've accumulated.

just got back from johor and manage to secure a place for WCG final later this year, 2nd place.

flying spaghetti monster server is growing. give it a lil more time and the community will mature.

i think one day when there is no way to bypass to NA server.. then everyone will be force to migrate to Gayrena that time

Now arh.. ppl like me will still prefer NA server

there will always be a way to bypass the block. someone out there will always find a way.

you could always subscribe for vpn that works for most people

Level 1 - 10 range takes longer, it is obviously faster(feel-able) after you are like level 15. As for those who are interested in Garen, you can transfer your account there but I guess that means your NA/EU account will be gone. As for the players in Garen, well, it's the friendliest among the three MOBA since I tested all 3(Still, friendliest =/= friendly enough). There are far more trolls and bad manner beyotch in HoN and DotA than LoL in the Garen community.

As for language, no chinese for sure. You will see some Malay occasionally and some Vietnamese(introduced to the server 1 month ago) and 99% of the time, english or unvoiced. As for the queue, just like ctwice said, ranked takes longer because for some reason, the SEA has the cowardice attitude and mindset to stay out of ranked forever despite hitting level 30(This one I checked the Garen LoL forum so I am certainly this is correct).

Guys after downloading and start patching it hanged there. Any idea why this happened?
