i want to buy is cherry mx switch only... now i already got 6gv2, want to replace the switches on it or try other switches.... smile.gif

btw, any 7G user here? my friend is having some issue with this 7G which is the spacebar is kinda stiff/squeaky? on the left side.
Is there anyone here is having the same problem with their 7G and how do you fix it?

Careful when removing spacebar.

If i am not mistaken it is hooked by a metal wire. If you wrench it out it will break.

Need to use tweezers or something and bend the hook to the side a bit to unhook before you can take it out.

Putting it back in is also a pain.


This is one of the main reasons i went for a Ducky keyboard nod.gif

uh, not really. it's just like 6GV2 spacebar with 3 + holes :S

SteelSeries Space bar is not held by a metal bar. Its just one hole for the switch and 2 on the side that does nothing.

BlackWidow is held by a metal bar though. Took me a good hour to fit it back when I took it out the first time. Learnt my lesson. lol.

the 2 on the side is for balance the space bar... when we press the left or right side space bar will more easy...
