Currently typing on a SteelSeries 7G. In love with Mechanical Keyboards. Love the feel while typing, just doesnt feel the same when I type on my sister's lycosa. Also, getting a BlackWidow soon, courtesy of Razer. Muahahaha.

QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Oct 23 2010, 01:58 PM) Their sponsoring you ? Are you into competitive gaming ? My bro use to be. He also tried the Steel series before Their using Chery mx Black switches. Nope. I'm currently a DotA editor at GosuGamers.net I helped some of the Razer people to get some things done. So they said they gonna send me one. Woot.

I got my BlackWidow straight from Razer. I'm a DotA editor at GosuGamers so its important that my keyboard feels good when I typing. Compared to the SteelSeries 7G, the BlackWidow is a better board when it comes to typing. Love the clicky sounds.
Also noticed i perform better in my game with the new keyboard. lol.

QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Jan 21 2011, 06:06 AM) @BlueBerry~ I'm not surprised. Blacks are harder than blues after all But still i think the 2KRO may be too limiting for gaming. Is your bw the ultimate edition with the fancy led ? or the budget model without the lighting ? I can tell you though, the reason why some people can live without the led lighted keyboards, is because of these beautiful vintage cherry double shot key caps. The text contrast is so good, and they never wear out. My lamp desk suffices for lighting. Besides it's not good to leave your room totally dark as you can hurt your eyes :/ I made an extensive review of my Ducky dk-9008 with double shots here http://geekhack.org/showwiki.php?title=Island:14092Just updated it with pictures Ze ultimate. I probably would have bought it myself if Razer dint decide to give me one.

QUOTE(jasmineivan @ Jan 21 2011, 11:06 AM) For typing, MX blue should be better choice, but I still prefer linear non-clicky switches, just waiting the Leopold bring in their red switches.
however, MX blue can improve your gaming experience? The click should has longer refresh time after every actuation.
I dunno. I just notice I have a better game now with the BW. Can last hit/deny better.

What do you mean by uniformity? I'm not a fanboy so I can give my 2 cents. In fact, been using SteelSeries up until I got this BWU for free. lolz.

QUOTE(Iphone4Lover @ Jan 21 2011, 06:21 PM) OK then your opinion is highly appreciated. The uniformity I mean is in the aspects of the feel and sound among all keys. Like i mentioned just now, i found out that 4 out of 5 BWU are having different feels of pressing(even among the kb owns keys). Hmm. They probably fixed it already. All the keys I press all sound the same to me (besides the spacebar of course, that always sound different on whatever keyboard you type on). Actuation force is all uniform to me, at least I dont feel any difference after extensive typing.

QUOTE(shueking @ Jan 30 2011, 10:06 PM) Mechanical Keyboards are really over priced. I havent been using the better Mechanical keyboards. But if the BlackWidow is any indication. Its well worth its price.

Does it mean that Blues are the only ones that give the clicky sound? Love them on my BlackWidow.
