Thanks, I have been doing a lot of research...will flash to Froyo soon (need to read more to gain confidence...haha).....contemplating whether to use Doc's ROM JPO 7.6 or wait for the Asian official version via Kies (rumoured this week or next week, right?)

Already downloaded all the files for Doc Rom's JPO.......waiting for some courageous moment to flash...

Quite fed up with Eclair...especially websurfing always got stuck when Flash is required...

Maybe Doc will cook the Asian ROM when release and that will be the best....

Help~!!! Phone can't turn on...
I did the flashing for csc with using odin, after odin show pass then my phone should be going to reboots. but my phone no reboots, just nothing happen... just look like turn phone off... thn i try to on back the phone, but the phone can't on already... i have try remove the battery and put it back, still can't on the phone... try in download mode, recovery mode, on the phone, but can't... what should i do? Any methods?? or i should take my phone to samsung service centre? ... dunno y will like tat... >.< T.T

If u choose Doc jz follow the instructions. I root n flash for the 1st time n it was a success!! Quite easy actually, don wori too much

plug in for 5 mins,then unplug then turn on ur phone.

hmm... hardware failure?? looks like u hav to meet up wif Samsung

U need to give us detail so that we can provide a more appropriate help. Detail mean, the steps u do, and what u put in the odin, did u checked anything...

For using Doc's ROM, kindly pls do the factory reset, wipe cache and also dalvik wipe -- if u are doing it from ClockWordMod prior to flashed the ROM.

This will surely reduced the problem like unable to receive, answered, even web browser problem.

i run odin because i wan to flash the CSC. i tick "Auto Reboot" and "F. Reset Time", after tat i click csc thn place with CSC i wan to flash... plug in my phone with download mode, then i click start~ after odin say it pass, normally phone going to reboot rite? but my phone going to off... no respond... after that i plug out n press power button to on the phone, the phone can't on ad...

As far as i know, we dun flashed the CSC alone, we usually flashed it with the PDA and CODE.

Looked like now, gotta do it all again, ie PIT, PDA, CODE, CSC....

Does your recovery mode and download mode work before this??

Calm down, let your phone charge for while then try to go download mode again. then flash new firmware

yes, recovery mode and download mode is work before that. plug in the charges like nothing, the battery icon din show out black screen

hw to do cache wipe n dalvik wipe aft flashin to Doc's rom? Jz applied SGP Ultraoleophobic screen protector tis noon, it's more prone to fingerprints than my naked screen! n mre difficult to wipe it off. b4 applyin i hardly see any fingerprints of mine let's c hw wil it b aft a few day's usage
