QUOTE(neo_himura @ Nov 17 2010, 09:38 PM) haha. i agree with tht when it comes to technology, we malaysians only get the leftovers from those western countries.. n they sell it with higher price! if they thing the market here is small, its better they don sell/promote here at all.. rather than making us wait for it and disappoint us... it sucks man~~ not really. If you browse the laptop market in uk, most of them are still on outdated specs, intel celeron, SIS mirage graphic cards. And these are the basic laptops (the RM2k range) Also in UK there's a VAT tax, so its more expensive than malaysia for the same laptop. Malaysia is not bad already, its america that will get all the items.

Yes.. The laptop selections in Malaysia is still much better and cheaper than over here in London lol... Stop complaining guys.. UK is like much bigger than us but their laptops are even more outdated and have weird specs lol.. I see lots of 3gb ram lappies for some reason.. Not even dual channel ><.. And around 500-600 the most u can get is only i3 processor at most.. Netbooks are much more expensive too.. Think again before complaining lar.. Such a small country like Malaysia, our electronics business are quite advanced dy..

United States beats all, period.
Malaysia is viewed by some as "affordable" like some people view Thailand, but seriously products here cost RM1500-2000+ more than the US version for some expensive laptops...

i7 is faster if your apps can utilize all the 4 cores and 8 thread...
