what would u guys recommend if i wanna do 3d rendering using 3ds max? the i5 or i7? quad core got significant improvement? i thought of getting the dell xps 15, and not those nvidia quadro cos i wanna be able to play games too,... or any other system to recommend?

ya.. but i7 or i5? priority is 3d rendering.. i've read the previous posts they say i5 faster ? or is that just for games?
