elo, daytime running light = use on daytime... of course la daytime wont blind. And merc one will dimmed when headlamp is on, so driving at night is not a problem at all.

and wrong, aftermarket DRL is aftermarket DRL, HID is HID... 2 different thing

some comes with dimmer module, some completely switch off when the headlights are on.

try to look/see from far at the correct angle and see how it goes during daytime... i believe the differences will be quite huge.
i personally tried 3 different type of DRLs, from cheap ones to average and the most expensive one... results? no regret of what i'm having now haha tongue.gif

but then the price is another main factor lar, too costly...

just got call from my SA, 16SX 6speeds can get before CNY.. but, he need me to settle the down payment first (already paid 1k deposit, the down payment mean the remaining amount after deduct from the loan), and sign all the loan document tomorrow.

I thought the down payment pay when i collect the car...

any ideal?

3 Quick questions to all Forte owners who have installed HID system on their HLs.....

1) Which brand you recommend?
2) What bulb socket is the HL using?
3) How is the light dispersion with HID bulbs? (two straight lines or even spread on the road?)

I always worried when try to install HID on reflector type HLs... last time I did on my Wira stock HLs, very bad.... got two straight lines, poor cut-off and force me to point the light to the ground... after change to projector (Eagle-eyes) then no problem...... cut-off is perfect, light distribution is even.......

Just want to know if anyone got success with the perfect match..... anyone using ori Phillips HID conversion kit?

take it this way.. to expedite the whole process to deliver the car before CNY..
i know it sounds weird.. but it is what we're doing since 1st batch.. with exception for those who follow normal procedure..
