Guys, what essential drivers should i install?

Realtek HD Audio, Broadcom WLAN, Intel HD Graphics etc

Also can't change brightness atm

You need to install the VGA driver from Acer first ?

After install Acer AMD graphic driver from website, change to Discrete and install 11.5 mobility.

The only other software you need it Launch Manager, you can either get it from Acer website, or use the latest here. Emm, if you install the latest LaunchManager, let me know if you see any difference?

For the rest of the drivers, they all optional since Windows should be able to detect and use all of them (except may be card reader and multi-touch). But if you still want to install latest driver, use this link:

Thanks for the info cowithgun. I forgot about the discrete mode then i got black screen. watafak.

Pardon my noobness but what does Launch Manager do? I've installed from your link and reboot and i don't see any change. Is it the animations when i increase the volume using the Fn key?

Also, how do i make it auto change from ATI to Intel when i change to Battery mode?

Its the animation..

Among other things, Launch Manager allows you to turn ON/OFF Wifi and Bluetooth. It also control your Multi-media key. Ya, that's including the animation you see when you adjust the volume key.

To make it automatically switch to Intel, follow this link:

Then, right click on Desktop, select Switchable Graphic, check on the Automatic setting.

Question: Did you use the new Launch Manager? 5.0.6? Work nicely?

Yeah, working nicely atm. Although i can't really say i've noticed what it's supposed to do

Nice. I will install that version too. I have been using the one from web site which is 4.0.5. Wanna try the new version. The old version has a bug that it cannot start as "Automatic - Delay"...

OK, tested the new version for a few minutes, it is EXACTLY the same with the old version... including still cannot start the DriTek service as "Automatic - Delayed start"...

No need to delete, its temporary file created by Windows.
I also have that file.

sifu update liau seriously.. using 11.5 ok? i think window defender problem.. can it be?
if on the laptop w/o do anything like play games o play texas poker using mf4 then my temp will get lower than 45.. eg: play pes 2011.. once i start run the game.. early b4 the menu the fan will stop spin for awhile (means working fine), as long i still at menu the fan won't run or the fan speed around 2.2k rpm. if i start playing it will get around 3k++ rpm. if i quit then the temp will drop from 60++ to 40++ the fan will slowly stop spinning.. but now i dun get lower temp below 50 & the fan non-stop spinning..

11.5, 11.4 also no problem..

Could be the game problem, since all problem happen after start the games...

every games also like this.. u think is game?? even i din on the game.. the explorer will auto increase after i restart.. the temp still like this.. i fine with 11.5, 11.4 but now suddenly like this?

Or uninstall Service Pack 1, since its into the explorer.exe
Or reformat.

huh? sifu lee b4 that work fine u ask me disable eset.. last few weeks was ok but last 3 days like this.. once i installed black ops + worms reloaded.. wan reformat meh? take a long time bro.. if still have same problem how??

Uinstall those two games.
Check for virus or such.

svchost, ask Microsoft, they design it..
